i find it interesting NO ONE has mentioned the online requirement to install the latest builds of windows 11. This means if you donât have a internet connection for whatever reason your not getting onto your computer. It also REQUIRES A MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. THINK ABOUT THAT. that means you no longer own your own computer.
if your micosoft account gets hacked or you get banned for any reason you are now sol and permanently locked out of your computer giving the hacker complete access to your computer or just locked out.
on top of that if you lose your encryption key for any reason and canât manage to get a new one. say goodbye to all that saved data. but of course your not going to think about this or care about it until it actually happens to you then youâll be the one staring at a shiny plastic brick.
You can buy Windows 10 keys dirt cheap even if its not free.

I have Windows 7 and Iâll never upgrade it. It isnât a security risk, thatâs just some mumbo jumbo that Microsoft uses to encourage upgrading. My fiancee had Windows 10, and it wasnât long before she downgraded to 7 due to all the nonsense 10 brings with it.
I also have disabled all updates for the last 10 years. My computer runs flawlessly, and exactly the way I want it to. Never have had a security breach nor virus/malware/trojan/etc in that time.
To all those saying, âGet with the times!â Why do you care? I also donât have a smart phone nor use social media. Iâm not going to purchase Dragonflight, and if this is actually what happens(10 being required) then I wonât play it even when it becomes free. No skin off my nose, and none from yours.

Which is why I always build my own.
Good to know. I have Windows 10, I refuse to link my PC to a Windows account. Good to know I have even less reason to consider Windows 11.
I wish Sony would make an operating system, I am so done with Microsoft.

I mean pre-shadowlands I was using 11 year old Processor, and the only reason I upgraded was because they said they werenât going to support it and during the pre-patch I logged into an eyeless female Draenei⊠That was horrifying⊠(apparently someone forgot to put in if the cpu canât process this make the gpu do it.)
yeah with their latest build they now require you to make a microsoft account to even install the os which requires the internet. live in a place with spotty internet or canât access it for some reason? TOO BAD says microsoft. i wonder if this requirement could have anything to do with their latest deal with netflix to provide them with advertising info to netflixâŠHMMM.
