There’s lots of really great mounts from the Argus campaign/rares! Bleakhoof Ruinstrider is a good ground mount one, there’s also lots of ‘Fel’ themed mounts like Crimson Slavermaw, Felfire hawk, Fel Drake, Felstorm Dragon… the list goes on. If you type in ‘Fel’ in the mount window it brings up an array of really good options for Man’ari!
I got the felstorm dragon, it looks too small.
felfire hawk i would need 50 more mounts to get it…
I need a flying one that fits, still searching.
Ah dang, I don’t play any male toons so I thought maybe the mounts would scale for male Draenei. Godspeed in your search!
For my Man’ari. I settled for the Black War Elekk, and I’ll be using the Flourishing Whimysdrake once Reg flying is unlocked for the dragonriding mounts in TWW.
For now just using the store bought Enchanted Fey Dragon as the flying mount. My char is trying less to stand out now since the Tishamaat
I usually use the Whimsydrake and/or Fey dragon on my Shaman and a Netherdrake on my Priest! I like to mix it up between Elekk and Talbuks for ground mounts based on what my mog is at the time. There’s lots of great mounts for Draenei!
Elekk & Talbuk for ground.
I love the BC Elekk.
Nether Drakes or Nether Rays for flying.
Though I know a lot of people don’t like the Nether Rays.
Just completed this on my Man’ari and I really enjoyed it. Now I don’t recall if it was mentioned but there was a Lost One in attendance.
Elder Kuruti, leader of the Feralfen tribe, in Outland. I thought it was rather nice to actually see a Lost One amongst the Draenei, Man’ari, and Broken. It also makes me wonder if we could potentially see the Feralfen in the future. Like either being apart of Draenei forces or even working with the Alliance in an Outland update or something.
That is interesting because when you go and try to make an alliance with him, he tells you to go away. Seems his opinion has changed since then.
He addresses this too in the quest. Basically saying he gave em a second chance after getting the invite. That the Draenei’s want/attempt to “fix” them in Outland wasn’t out of malice, but of care and not really knowing better. Rude AF, but meant well.
Reading how awesome the Draenei quest is, as I do not have one high enough to do the quest myself, is really making me jealous. Happy for Draenei players mind you! But as a worgen player it makes me sad.
I saw in the thread where someone mentioned there must be some devs on the team who love Draenei and their lore, and they went all out for the Draenei. I envy that so much as a worgen player, where our race feels like Blizzard has utter disdain or complete indifference to when it came to their heritage quest, or any content really.
I hope Blizzard sees how loved the quests like the Orc and Draenei were, and go back and redo, or add a “Part 2” for some of the races they flubbed like the worgen one. AND get devs who actually like the race to do the questline.
It’d be cool in the future to go back to Outland instead of the pre-sequel we got in WoD. It’s an integral place in the setting and while you could just leave it as is and move on from it, I think it’d be cool to give it some kind of renewal (and also seriously hoping it’d be a good excuse for Broken Draenei and Stonemaul Ogres to be added to their respective factions).
You can actually do the quest and unlock the armor by just making a class trial character as they are LVL 60 by default!
Oh snap really?? I might have to do that!
Big brain time!
It works for all main core races. You can hammer out all the heritage sets in like an hour or so.
Doesn’t work for allied races of course
Some of the Allied races could share. Lightforged Draenei would share the Exodar. Nightborne are already sharing Surmar with Blood Elves - especially since the leaders of both are now husband and wife.
Not just visiting a pretty integral place, but last we’ve kinda understood is that its quite literally falling apart. Not saying its going to be nothing but crumbs tomorrow, but it seems as if it has some sort of lifespan to it (far shorter than normal planets that is).
So either revisiting and saying ‘ope, nope just some miscalculations’ and Outland stays Outland or ‘uh oh Shaggy, its really falling apart’ and some big bad is trying to use the crumbling husk for… whatever, and need to beat them and hightail all the survivors, flora, fauna, artifacts, etc, out of there and too Azeroth would be a fun expansion. I’d visit the Clefthoof Sanctuary in Mulgore. Especially getting those redone assets.
post-post apocalyptic alien fantasy world expansion? Sheeeeeeeeeeeit, sign me up.
As far as Outland falling apart, I kinda just head-canoned it as being similar to how Hawaii is sinking; it’ll happen but it’ll take hundreds if not thousands of years.
One thing I would have liked to see is Draenei death knights among the Auchenai. We see the DKs at the end of the quest, but could have also been put in Auchindoun. Wouldn’t have had to be anything major, just a couple DKs standing around and maybe one with a little dialogue. Auchenai feel like a natural part of Draenei society for DKs to connect to.
I’d also like to know what happened to Hatuun’s family. He asked Velen to protect them and while it hasn’t been directly stated it seems pretty clear that Velen failed to do so.
List of all named characters at the celebration. And there’s another Lost One that I didn’t notice in attendance, Kum’isha the Collector.
