Technically not any longer Draenei… but oh well. Especially for light users yellow or something like it should be an option. Let me be clear: I think more is possible and they should get more options. Yeah, not having one option of head plating + that majestic ponytail has been a huge disappointment for me. If the women have to be sexy, that headplating would be a nice middle ground imo.
I’d take it as a full on hair style option (headplating + hair tailored for it).
Yeah I wish they put in that blind, option for goblins. Considering how many dangerous things they tend to be around. Male goblin really got the short end of the stick too with customization, really lacking on any hair that is not balding in some manner.
I heard Lightforged Draenei have even less options then normal Draenei but I have to check?
Don’t complain, fem dwarves only got 4 new hairstyles. I’m jealous of all the gorgeous and stunning styles other female characters are getting, tho the shieldmaiden is pretty cool…thats about it.
I had put in the PTR forums how I felt draenei were missing customizations (yes, I know others are as well) so I will help bump this, too!
I really would like our eye colors to match our school of magic. I would love arcane (magenta) colored eyes. Other ideas: blue-violet/lavender (shadow), gold/white (holy), orange/red (fire).
Draenei have been around for millennia upon millennia. I would think that having an affinity for a certain magic would alter their eyes like so many other races.
Plus! Whatever happened to the crystals in the hair like we all got hyped for? I was hoping for floaty crystals and maybe an arcane rune type deal in front of our foreheads like the lightforged.
I’m still holding on to hope that this isn’t it. I was a little disappointed with the new hairstyles since they were half recycled hairstyles of what we have already.
I’m grateful for the changes, but after playing draenei for so long, I just wanna see new things rather than the old stuff we’ve had for years.
If only other races had interesting, fantastic options they blunt pull some of that away…
But seriously. Both male and female Draenei pop out at the bottom 50% in terms of customizations (males have 101 unique options, females have 98), which puts males at 14/26 of non-allied races and females a bit lower.
Context, however, breaks things. The lion’s share of the customizations for Draenei are their headdresses, horn or hair accessories, and the colors of them.
These only work with specific hairstyles and are otherwise unavailable, which means they only exist for people who want that specific look. (This is similarly true of human males and face scars, human females and freckles, etc).
Draenei are the only race not even getting eye colors or the option to be blind in one eye. We also lack things like earrings or facial piercings, which the majority of races are getting.
We need scars, eye colors and options, broken horns… There’s all sorts of other options that could give us.
Worgen got the worst of it, honestly. The vast majority of their customizations are eye colors, and you only get one of those, which is quite unfair.
But instead of coming into this thread and saying to people giving feedback and requests to shut up and be happy, make your own thread and give feedback on your favorite race.
