All I want for Draenei is for their darned capes to not flair up from their tail. Just make it standard for capes to have cuts for tail room, like in TBC cinematic.
They do that to avoid clipping. The bones from the cloak are placed in a way that they won’t intersect with the tail bones. They’d have to have different bones for different cloak shapes to do that, and they probably think it’s not worth it.
I don’t know, I never had an issue with the way cloaks look, and I always wear long cloaks. If I wanted to see my tail, I’d wear a shorter cloak. I suppose they COULD fix it so the cloak falls better over the tail but I don’t want them to make it so the tail is always visible.
Although I’m happy with the Draenei customizations for the most part, not having the eye color like other races didn’t or hasn’t bothered me to much. Yes there is some NPC variation, yet it just feels there just wasn’t enough for a customization for the eyes. (That’s what I think, even after the fact we were the only core race that got no new class added in cata as well compared to all other races and the eyes reminds me of that issue)
When it comes to the Alliance, Humans and Night Elves got the most in the customization, with the Draenei got a lot of body cosmetic customizations. The Worgen’s customizations however are fewer in their main form which they spend most of the time in combat. Yet most of their customizations being on the Human form they have and is only seen outside combat.
I do feel they are done at this point with the races but I do hope they explore some of the core races options how they compare to others down the road. This goes for both the Alliance and the Horde.
This was essentially by design and Blizzard mentioned that they will be a kings on the customizations due to the diversity they had been wanting to add to the humans for a long time. Think it was talked about in one of the interviews.
