So I’m seeing all these threads about blood elves not having enough customisation options but I just finally checked the (female) draenei and we get:
3 skin colors
7 hairstyles
3 hair colors
4 horn styles
1 tendril option
1 headdress
5 gem colors for that one headdress (and slightly different metal color)
2 extra tail lengths
That’s it? No ear shapes? No eye colors? No blind eye options? No scars? I’m not complaining but am I missing something when people are ranking the races based on their new customisation and putting draenei at the top? I never bothered to look until now and I’m like… what?
I’m already content with the face/skin/hair/horns I chose so I was only going to change the eyes and whatever else they added, but there’s nothing besides that one headdress and the bigger tendrils. The tails are nice but I like long cloaks so… F.
Like I said, I’m not complaining cause they’re probably not done (considering every other race seems to have an eye color option), but I don’t understand why there’s multi-part threads about races that already have more and I haven’t seen a single draenei thread, lol.
That said though, gimme a blind eye to put under my eyepatch
well blood elves make up like 25% of players of the game so it makes sense for them to ask for more stuff over the other races.
But yeah some races got less compared to others.
Not sure how they worked out what to add. I assume its just about what they thought was cool and not about fairness across races
As a main troll player and fan I agree with your tread and support you.
I hope every race will get a lot more customization options. Some got only 3 new hair styles. More eye colors should really be a thing for everyone.
One option for Draenei could be to separate their horns from their hairstyles.
As advise: Link pictures if you have any to your ideas and really write everything you want down here as suggestions.

Sounds about right. Still, I think every race should have eye color options. Draenei is the only alliance race without that option from what I can see, which is strange.
It’s always been the case for female draenei, but I agree they should do that for male draenei as well.
Honestly, I just want eye color options (or at least a blind option for each eye, like other races have), some scars (I also think every race should have those) and maybe ear shape. Not asking for much, but having some extra options for the face besides what already existed would be nice.
I don’t know much about the lore of their eyes. (thats a strange thing to say)
Like NE only got 3(?) eye colours to chose from.
Perhaps Draenei don’t have variation in their eye colour
At least some races actually got new options across a few new categories. Some races like Worgen (for their Worgen form) received most of their new options through pre-existing categories, a new eye color category, and for male Worgen facial hair and ears were separated.
In fact, a lot of the “new” Worgen customization options are really just updated versions of unused customization options leftover in the game files since Cataclysm. Can’t complain about those being finally made available, but they could do with making some more brand new options as well, like piercings, teeth options, and scars, among other ideas for new customization options.
To be honest I’d be happy with just normal, blind left eye, blind right eye, both eyes blind. I mean, even Vulpera have that and they’re an allied race, lmao.
I think more eye color options are fine. I don’t know anything in lore which states Draenei have only one eye color and most races are getting new ones (if not all).
A blind option should also be a given in my view. That’s really not a big request.
Yeah, Worgen had among the largest amount of cut customization options of any playable race in the game. Literally about half of the facial hair options they made for male Worgen were left unused in the game files since Cataclysm for whatever reason.
I think every race should get blind eye options and scar options. That should be universal. I think it’s odd that so many races get blind eye options and no scars to go with them.
Also, the lack of a long tail option for Lightforged Draenei is dumb too.
Another thing I will add is this. Why not give male Draenei more tail options? The female Draenei are getting a few new tail options including ones with extra jewelry, while male Draenei only get short tails as a new tail option.
I think male Draenei should get more tail options, like maybe extra long tails and tails with different tail rings or something. Scarred tails for both male and female Draenei would be cool too.
I’m only going off what I can see in videos and on wowhead.
