Or you know, people simply have different tastes then you do. No one is forcing you to like Dracthyr but don’t [REDACTED] on the ones that do.

My main is destro lock so i actually do like my dracthyr cause my lock was terrible for weeks

Quit whining man they are part dragon race. The Race in Everquest 2 is similar. If you do not like it do not play it. I think they look cool to me so what one hates another will like. You got plenty of races to choose from. I can’t Gnomes and they way they look with mogs so its not that big of a deal.

Idj about horrendeous…but the way they walks needs redesign…that animation is terribad.

Visually I rate them a 4.5/10. Mostly because they have good customization options however their body proportions are waaaaay off which takes so much away from that. Also because the visages are really weird looking to me and there should have been more races than elf and human-elf. Playstyle was a 5.5/10, I kinda like the weird charge-bars. I’m glad some people are enjoying theirs despite whatever I feel about them.

There’s valid criticism of Dracthyr by all means but… the walk, I’m just not seeing. The “anime girl walk” as it’s described. Lizard form seems to carry itself in its running animation like I’d expect it to, nothing out of the ordinary besides the… lizard part.
This so much like hate the visage like can’t even be explained Lore wise either as Elves didn’t exist yet when the Dracthyr were created.
Judging by their hasty explanation with Wrathion at the end of the Dracthyr starting questline, Visages sound significantly more flexible than expected. Like choosing how you want to look on a whim. Guess it’s also how they would explain some of the current dragon visages.
If only that meant more visage options though…

The Dracthyr look pathetic and weak. They’re actually using the centaur skeleton if you look closer at them from the front, so even their skeleton isn’t unique. Drakonid with wings would’ve been ten times more badass in my opinion.
Hopefully the developers will add the actual drakonid body build to the Dracthyr in the future. Maybe even make soar work like actual flying mount while at it. It’s garbage now.
And don’t get me started on the visage forms. I’d rather we got an option to chose any race as a visage without the extra customisation than being forced into that ugly male blood elf form. At least you can ignore the visage form, so I give Blizzard that at least.
Also, let them see their damn armor fully. Seeing only shoulders and belt is lame, and the tabard isn’t even shown on the back, just on the front. I don’t want to have to use that ugly visage form to be able to see my transmog.

The silhouette is indeed strange. Would be nice to have a bigger head option and a much bulkier body type option. Not being able to see all your gear in the dracthyr form or turn off forced dracthyr form in combat makes it lose its appeal as well. I really only like the humanoid form as it is.

For me the absolutely worst part of Dracthyr is that in human form you can’t remove scales from forehead, looks awful, like you have some skin disease
