You mean the make this World of Human and Elfcraft crowd ?
I remember “Horizons: Empire of Istaria”! I played it for 2 years before Vanilla WoW came out. It was a vastly inferior MMO to WoW in every respect except for one: it had playable dragons. They were quite well executed too.
I think that MMO is still around renamed to “Horizons: Chronicles of the Gifted”
THey look like they could be earlier forms of Drakonid
Because they aren’t actually dragons like the different flights . They according to the deep dive were created by Neltharion before he became Deathwing.

It’s Istaria now, and inferior is a matter of perspective. For what I played it for, I loved it. I had dragons, and I could build giant underground lairs. It’s why I still pay for it. 
That may be so …
… but aesthetically, they would look a lot better if they were shaped like a dragon rather than a human with dragon features.

They seem to be trying to do at least some fan service…who knows. Maybe now will be when they decide to allow for a toggle for not only this new race, but Worgen as well. Seems as good of a time as any to ask for it.

I like them, but I seriously hope we get the opportunity to toggle our displayed form, and that we’re not forced into dragon form in combat. It’s one thing that turned me off of Worgen.

Considering the fact that there have been eight (almost nine) expansions for WoW, and only three (almost four) classes have been released, it’s hard to say that the new class is the “biggest feature” of an expansion.
I think you’re just making that up for yourself. Do you perceive the biggest feature to be the class? Then, sure, that sucks for you.
But yeah, if you don’t like it then just don’t play it. Why is that a hard concept to wrap your head around?
Yeah the humanoid form looks really really dumb.
The Lizardman form looks better, but sucks when compared to other MMO Lizardmen. That’s why when the leaks came out people were literally saying they were awful fakes because they didn’t look like they came from anything in the Warcraft universe.

Did you make a fuss when Demon hunters where stuck on 2 elvish races? Same can be said for them, some people hate playing as elves.

Basically Danuser remembered the original Dragonlance trilogy and copied the Draconian origin and slapped a Warcraft paint job on it.
Well, some people enjoy playing ugly. I mean…Forsaken anyone?
But can you see why saying “I can’t play class because I don’t like race” will get no results?
If they didn’t feel the need to spare the people who hate elves the indignity of playing them when they wanted to play a DH, what argument can you really push that hasn’t been given by them to no avail?
