Dracthyr are a clever allegory for being trans and I am HERE for it

Human hatred against Orcs for the mere fact they are orcs is still cannon on Azeroth. Just because they removed the person saying the phrase doesn’t mean the whole backbone of Jaina’s father’s story isn’t based on it.

While technically true, most people are going to gravitate towards the race fantasy that they identify with.

Most housewives are not going to roll male orcs.

Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. It can be coded for a specific demographic (tell with with a straight face that Tauren aren’t Native American coded) while still appealing to a wide audience.

They aren’t. This was covered waaay back in 2004, by the game writers in the Prima Guide. “They take inspirations from Minotaurs and Native American Culture, but they are neither. They are Tauren, and they create their own beautiful story as a consequence.”

If your view of Native American culture is an old western movie maybe. They’re a caricature. Like Dwarven Scotts. Blizzard drew inspiration from real world “cultures” for some elements of their racial designs, but they’re not meant as inserts of those cultures into Azeroth.

It’s normal, it’s just a new race with some history. But, you can imagine whatever you want…

You might be surprised by the demographics on that. Anecdotal, I know, but I know a lot of housewives that play the big ugly male choices. That way, they can still act “like a girl” while short-circuiting the brains of creepers who check to see if their character is hot before getting weird with them.

Tell that to my cousin’s wife then. xD

No it isn’t, and will still always purposely misgender people I know that refuse to give transpeople the common respect of being called what they identify as. Here’s a poignant question for you there champ. How does calling them what they say to call them hurt you? How is your life impacted by calling someone he or she even if you don’t believe it.

Why is this kind of bigotry allowed here? It’s not a fantasy, I AM a woman and you are not going to belittle me.

They are an allegory for the deep state takeover of America by lizard people!

I wouldnt say its coded for a “demographic” but that Bliz took some of the stereotypes that Native Americans are ‘one with nature’ which works well with the Tauren race.

Im all for it.

Hence the use of the term “coded.”

Wait, so the Elements are Americans, and the Titans are the big bad one world government, using Lizards to infiltrate and conquer America from within ?

Brilliant storytelling. New York Times Best-seller list.

Perhaps you should forgive her, as I forgave you for mislabeling me earlier. We could all do with being kinder and gentler human beings that treat each other with respect.

I won’t deal in the past. I can’t change it. I focus on the future that I can change for the better. That was Warcraft. That is not Warcraft as it is now.

All I know is Alexstrasza is now my favorite female character in WOW… Sylvanas was the bad girl goth chick but now… I just want to chase Alexstrsza’s tail!

Unbelievable that mods haven’t stepped in to silence you. I am 100% a woman, I am a female, there is no pretending.

I am going to discount that reasoning. The motivation to play the orc male isnt naturally motivated but more so a trolling move.

Man, I’m trans and I didn’t even pick up on this. Guess that’s why I enjoyed it so much hah.
