Dracthyr are a clever allegory for being trans and I am HERE for it

Theres an exception to every rule. I stand by what I said.

You are whatever you say you are. Nobody really cares. Be whoever you want.

What you can’t do is demand things from others. If I want to call you Michael Jackson I’m gonna do it because you have zero say in it.

Did I play a different story?

Look, as a person thats queer / trans myself, literally not everything with sparkles and rainbows is queer coding. Please stop this.

Elementals represent the unwashed masses and the titans as unfettered corporate greed. Dragon aspects are the consumers who enable the corporations with their desire for stuff.

The pieces are there if you would only stop drinking the water!

I don’t really think it is, but I guess if you find happiness in that then go for it. It’s just dragons to me. Reptiles are inherently hard to know the gender just by eye anyway.

Animosity between the races of Warcraft sets the table for conflict. The game is drifting away from its roots. Not good.

You are the first evoker I’ve seen post on the forums, man I double taked.

Also why is your level/class not the evoker class color?

This really is just a common courtesy tbh. It does not hurt me one single bit to call someone whatever they identify as. And I’ll gladly honor someone’s title.

I feel similarly to Dave Chappelle’s quote on his thoughts:
“I support anyone’s right to be who they want to be. My questions is: to what extent do I have to participate in your self-image?”

I think that’s a fair question overall, as it brings up many vast ideas of what should/shouldn’t change in terms of the collective reality, not just someone’s personal reality.

I love you saying that but then people with the same mindset getting very butt hurt if they are called anything but what they say they are lol.

A cigar isn’t always a cigar. But sometimes, it is.

Then the admiral in Legion in the Stormheim intro zone.

Or just the Dracthyr introduction where some guards literally insult Dracthyr for being dragons based on the actions of Lady Prestor (remember her ?). That one was literally yesterday. Is that not “present” enough for you ?

Racism is alive and well in Azeroth.

As an LBGTQ+ ally, I welcome our new dracthyr friends and will nod knowingly at them whenever I see one in-game.

no you are not . You at best have a mental illness that demands everyone pretend you are something you are not and can never be. Calling upon the moderators to silence truth wont change anything you will never be what you are not.

Silence them for what? Disagreement? You said at the start that the Drac’thyr are an allegory for Trans. That seems awfully self-serving and exclusive rather than INCLUSIVE. Now you are angry that people are pushing back and saying “No friend it is for everyone.” Yes, I disagree with her statement also. It was not good either.

But false flagging people is also against the forum code of conduct friend.

We already covered this. Call me Todd. Whatever. You don’t owe me anything.

They haven’t updated the forums to account for that yet.

It doesn’t hurt me and you’re apparently not paying attention to the words you read.

The entire post was about the difference between someone doing something that is factually (look up the word factually if necessary) wrong entirely out of spite. They are being factually incorrect on purpose because they are just a spiteful person. And someone who is just not willing to partake in a fantasy roleplay.

These 2 people are not equal. They are different. These are different scenarios too. Thus, your equivalency was wrong. Hopefully you understand my point now. Please, if necessary, do look up words on the dictionary. Not trying to be condescending I’d just like to avoid another post in which I have to babysit someone’s reading comprehension.

Then simply, do it. If it hurts you admitingly 0, you misgender someone and they tell you what they identify as, its still 0 effort to call them the correct term.

but, its really not, because gender (not sex) is a social construct in the first place. There are animals that change sex as well, so we can’t say it’s unnatural. So really, it boils down to either being bigotted because you don’t like something, or being a decent human being and calling them what they identify as.

You are trying to invalidate me as a human being. The moderators will take care of you.
