as society breaks down, people become more and more tribalistic. rule of law gets thrown out the window, and the law of the jungle replaces it.

Plus the same thing happened to Troy Baker,poor guy got crap for enjoying coming back as Joel :-/ These victim blaming internet tough guys/narcissists make me shake my head sometimes. Nobody should have to put up with threats by angry,unstable douchebags.

Did you know that masks are the reason Europe and most of Asia are on the road to recovery? You just need to not reuse your old cloth masks over and over without washing them. Or buy a box of single use.

seems that mental/emotional disorders can also play a role.
The real answer is these things need to be taken more seriously. If i threaten someones life in real life, i’d be arrested and charged with assault. It should be no different online. Require a credit card to sign up for all social media, no more fake accts, and actual prosecution for this nonsense. That would stomp it out in about 2 months.

The people making these threats arent going to listen to anything you say, they want to scare you like a terrorist. Dont be afraid of cowards who intimidate behind the wall of a monitor. Hunt them down and expose them so they cant hide anymore.
Yeah,that’s true,just sucks Mental health is treated so poorly here,if it had enough funding people who’ve been neglected and dismissed by negative stigmas could get the genuine help they need to get to a stage of enjoying quality of life.

sure sounds like it. anytime you hear/read/see people behaving like that, its gotta be either political/religious/financial or a mental / emotional disorder. and it could be any combination of those as well. i never assume people having such over the top reactions are doing so because they’re healthy, wealthy and wise, more like not well, in more ways than one.
mental/emotional problems dont just come in the form of depression.
I mean some rich folks are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay disconnected from reality.

It’s not Twitter, it’s the entire internet. There are a bunch of toxic people in the world that hide behind the anonymity of the internet and think it’s ok to spew vile crap.
It’s not the service, it’s the people using it. They need to be policed better.

Wow, I can’t believe someone is threatening voice actors.
I guess that shows how influential that series, The Last of Us, is. I’ve never played the game, but goodness.
If I were a writer for that series and death threats were coming toward the people who brought those characters to life, I’d feel odd about continuing the series. Like that would linger in my mind if I were a writer.
No one should get death threats for art.

This quarantine has really pulled back the curtain on a lot of celebrities on just how out of touch they are. Having breakdowns because they’re having to isolate, that ridiculous “Imagine” cover.
Been hilarious and disturbing to watch.
