Almost every social media outlet has some form of degenerate breed or toxic person. If you see “online”, prepare to see the sins and virtue of human nature.
Anything that has a form of online communication will have toxic people. It’s just an inevitable fact that the internet is caused by our emotional human instincts.
This is so upsetting

The internet is both a blessing and a curse. It blesses us with tremendously important access to information in a way we never had prior to its creation. It lets us reach out to others of like minds, to share discoveries and creativity, to be there for those important moments and share them.
The curse of it is that it opens up a far greater range of access to the egocentric haters who have zero empathy, the sociopaths, the degenerate and cruel. And other commenters are correct - removing internet access does not entirely stop it - people got hate letters long before the internet was around. It’s a lot more in-your-face now than it was then. Not to mention there are more of us on the planet nowadays, and therefore the proportion of bad’ns is more visible.
I used to wonder at people going off-grid to live a simpler life but it’s becoming a lot easier to get now. If the bad outweights the good, we need to find a better way. And anyone who thinks online bullying is ok, or no big deal, needs to adjust their thinking.

I grew to really like Abby, it’s really odd to think anyone would bully the voice actor for it. Deplorable.

Voice actors do a lot of hard work to make crappy writing tolerable

Loved Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon and Dracula,Johnny Depp played some versatile roles and it’s a damn shame he had trouble finding work for a while because of Amber’s lies. :-/

People need to raise their kids better, so that adults aren’t so vitriolic and ugly.
Human society can really be hideous.
