See if a villain makes me feel hate for the character, THAT’S REALLY GOOD ACTING ON THE ACTORS PART.
It’s like how people still like Scar because his voice acting is top notch even after he kills Mufasa. Or again Negen from Walking Dead.

I do not condone people doing such things. But us talking about it really makes no difference. If someone is receiving threats they should use the proper authorities to investigate and enact justice.

The evening news and the social engineering you imagine to be going on in relationship to it, has nothing to do with the situation.
Twitter has given power to the anonymous, dangerous combination I’d say at some point.

I will never understand the mentality behind threatening people over these kinda things of all things to threaten them over.
Hopefully she keeps safe and perhaps works with Twitter and the Authorities to do what they need. There are some whacko’s out there. I remember Preach had someone sending death threats before Preachcon or something and was able to find out who it was and the Police took it from there.
THat just reminded me , they closed down the mall here in Phoenix that was used for the mall scenes in Bill and Ted. It was opened 47 years.

Thanks for the extra info~ I feel bad for that user but its a good lesson to never do things in the heat of the moment, always sleep on things for sure.

Sounds like the effects of parasocial relationships aren’t just a streamer problem, some of these lonely people on the internet might literally feel attached to video game characters. Which is a pretty dangerous thing.

All that said, she needs to screenshot, PM Jack@twitter and alert local and federal law enforcement. They can contact the social media concerned and subpoena the locations of these people. There is a real world solution to this.
