You don’t understand how the increasing of the power ceiling filters down and affects all of the rest of the game, the economy, and the leveling process. But honestly, I and those like me don’t care what you do or don’t understand, and you’re not listening anyway. You already poisoned Retail beyond redemption, and now you come to Classic because your own playground stinks, and begin stinking things up here.

On my server there is maybe 3-4 guilds raiding regularly. Lots of posts for PUG raids that need a few spots filled. Lots of players in the 40-60 areas, its about to get fun.

I’m sorry but please show me what exactly phase 2 is removing that you will be unable to do in phase 2. From what I can see it’s only adding things.
So what content does P2 provide that you can’t get in P1, barring the honor system(which is atrocious without BGs)?

Fixed that for you. This goes both ways. Your made up stats that only allow you to say things like “Many people” without a single percentage or number just shows how completely clueless you actually are.
What do you think these people who took months of content for most people and rushed it in a week will get out of content patches exactly my guy? Like what? They will find some exploit if possible or will run with the private server guys to down the raid instantly and come back crying some more, its an infinite loop. The best thing to do is take it nice and slow, let the guys who hate the game and rushed everything go exploit and rush something else, this clearly wasn’t actually made for them and never was. They changed as people.
In terms of phase 2 since diremaul is already out? It’s more stepping stone on the way to phase 3, which does have a lot more that interests me. So in this case the sooner phase 2 comes out the sooner phase 3 comes out.
The game has been out for 8 weeks at this point, we’re long past the point of being able to complain about how the only people at 60 are the people who rushed it.
All we have to go in is that blizzard does have the real numbers and based on them pushing out diremaul and that they seem to be prepping for phase 2 it’s a lot more likely that there are lots of people at 60.

False equivalence. Classic is what it is. I’m not arguing for anything to happen, I’m arguing against continual demands for change. I’m so thankful Classic is even here. There is nothing else like it in the entire industry right now. Yet of course, here you guys are who neither understand the difference nor care very much, doing your best to agitate for the same type of changes that created the dumpster fire that is Retail. I don’t even understand why - there are many games offering the ADD rushfest gameplay you seem to crave, BfA being the first example.
We already lived through the horrible process that progressively destroyed Retail WoW. Everything you’re doing now is the same. It’s all snake oil, and no-one is buying it.
Phases aren’t changes… they are going to be a part of classic and have been part of the plan for a very long time.
Be glad blizzard even agreed to do phases at all.
And the expectation that blizzard would delay any content updates until 100% of the population was 60 and had fully farmed everything in the previous phase was always entirely unrealistic.
3 months is plenty of time to get level 60 if you’re still not 60 by then you’re just too casual and should’t care about content updates. People got to stop with the wait for me mentality, This is not 2004 it doesn’t take forever to level anymore.
This. Is. Classic. It literally is 2004 again. If you’ve rushed to 60 that’s on you, and honestly I don’t know why you are invested in a game designed from the ground up to be a slower, deeper type of gameplay experience. What exactly are you doing?
No it’s not 2004. It’s actually 2019 and we didn’t all get MIB flashy thinged. It was entirely expected that with a player base with a ton of knowledge of the game they would over all level much faster than in vanilla.
Iol bull$hit, I play the game the way I like it. This slower, deeper type of gameplay is the most obnoxious, washed up argument ever made to describe classic.
They’re not farming mats for their professions or even working on their professions because “Other people will do it, and I can buy their stuff”.
So basically, they’re banking on other people doing the work for them.
Don’t know what to say to you then. You’re in the wrong game. Play it the way you want to, no-one’s trying to stop you. Just stop trying to mess with it and get everyone to fit the way you want to play it. Try rushing through dungeons like in BfA if that’s “how you like it”. We can talk after the 3rd wipe.

Nobody is forced to grind Honor, just like if phase 2 was after Christmas, nobody would be forced to quit there job or drop out of school to farm Honor.
There is no reason to delay phase 2 for 2 more months. If people aren’t 60 by now, then they are not the people who are pushing higher honor ranks.
You do understand how an economy works right? Whether I’m farming mats myself or buying them I’m still doing work to get them.
No I don’t see any intense irony, Because if it was for me I would be playing phase 2 like last month, but I realize that I play alot, but for you my friend there has to be a time limit, none wants to wait forever because casuals want to take their time and level up in 6 months.
