Don't rush Classic phases

Most people are just hitting 60 and beginning to raid. Many are not geared at all.

Do not rush phase 2. Do not listen to the streamers and the minority.

Let us who have been fighting this fight for years enjoy what we finally have been given by Blizzard without rushing it.

The numbers Wowhead posted show that there are “many” people ready for phase 2.

I have been fighting for Classic for years and was very involved in the stickied post asking for classic.

I don’t take polls on Wowhead, and I’m sure a lot of the actual people who fought for Classic don’t either. Polls said Hillary was going to win. So much for polls.

Let us enjoy this.

If you read trade chat and LFG chat, it seems that the majority of players are in the SM range (levels 30-40).

The streamers I’ve seen, like Staysafe, have said they shouldn’t release phase 2 until January after the holidays. Nobody wants to spend all their time grinding honor over Christmas they want to be with their loved ones.

It wasn’t a poll… it was scanned data similar to how they’ve almost always got numbers since Blizzard stopped sharing.

Also, I don’t play the “social score” game where some anecdote is used to say you deserve it more than others. If you really had invested as much as others into Classic you’d have been just as excited to level as the main wave of players that did.

I’m not claiming you weren’t excited… I’m just claiming you definitely don’t have the higher ground above level 60s that have been level 60 for over a month.

“The world should revolve around me!”

Hypocrites.

This.

I can’t speak for other servers but on my server large chunks of people are 60 and have been 60 for awhile. MC and Ony are being regularly pugged daily.

I think people are plenty ready for more content.

Classic have been out two months and even people who played at a relatively relaxed pace have had more than enough time to hit 60. So at this point it’s not a case of catering to a handful of people who rushed. Delaying content on the other hand would be catering to a handful of people who are just slow.

A whole month? Zomg!!! Come on, man, we’re 2 months in. We as a community got what we wanted, Blizzard releasing “Classic”, a Vanilla experience.
Now you want phases rushed out because you’re bored?

I wouldn’t consider phase 2 after 3 months “rushing” content out.

Phase 2 is world PVP and world bosses. It’s not a big deal.

The holidays is when most people have the most time to play.

This isn’t rushed.

Large chunks of people are ready for phase 2.

Feel free to try and prove that.

If it weren’t for the events around raid tiers I would say to release everything and let player’s decide on what they want to do.

Why the rush? Anyone serious about endgame or PvP should be using this time to stock up consumables and gold.

Fair enough, I respect your position, I just don’t agree with it. I would say (and have no evidence to the contrary, other than my own observations), that a bigger “chunk” of the player base ISN’T level 60 and are ready for P2.

I just honestly don’t get the rush to pump out phases earlier than what was planned.

I don’t consider it “rushing,” they are playing and doing what they want to do. While they’re farming end game content I’m out here spending most of my time wpvping instead of leveling.

If everything was released, it still wouldn’t stop me from doing what I want to do. End gamers shouldn’t have to wait to progress on account of me and other’s like me that are “behind.”

But as I’ve said, due to the raid tier events. Things kind of have to be spread out.

That’s a sad statement tbh, not one I can relate to. I’m usually out of town visiting relatives.

This right here. I swear half the LFG channel is people spamming for more for SM.

Amen, brother.

Phase 2 is not a huge deal. But Phase 3 will be. BWL needs to be delayed until at least January, to let the slower levelers with limited playing time catch up and gear up, while forcing the poopsockers to suck it up and show a little patience for once and level alts and wait for them. This will close the gap between the 20ish hour per week players and the 60+ hour per week players that was created by the slow leveling process and the lack of daily limits on dungeon farming. It will bring guilds and the community closer together.

In a couple of months, things should level out and stay relatively leveled out, because the raid lockouts limit everyone’s progression so that even a 20 hour per week player can keep up.

Besides, it will be good for Blizzard’s bottom line, because the quicker the content comes out, the quicker the poopsockers finish it and unsub, losing Blizzard their $15/month.
