They need to learn from the timing mistakes of Vanilla and give people a lot of time to farm through raids (get gear, etc.) and get everyone ready for BWL.

Ignoring tank damage and healer mana alot of raids are already doing the minimum dps required for naxx.

We’re ready for it now, Hell I’m guessing we were ready for it minus ony cloaks for BWL.

I don’t get the overreaction to phase 2, it’s on “garrison update” levels of content. In terms of PvE, all it brings is world bosses not another tier of gear. The majority of gear is still from MC so there’s A LOT of time to progress through it still.

As with all of this - including Dire Maul - it’s not the thing itself but the precedent of pushing it out “early”. Just let it come out when it’s set to come out.

This time it will be “it’s just this content” - as it was with Dire Maul. Next time it will be “it’s just this content and we already have previous content so what does it matter” (you’re doing this now)… all the way to Phase 6. The earlier you push out one thing, the earlier you’re going to want the next thing.

Can you all just play the game and enjoy it for what it is? This isn’t live, it’s not Retail, it’s not malleable. Just let it be.

Phase 2 before year-end is fine, as it doesn’t really add a whole lot to the game. Phase 3, on other hand, needs to wait for a few months (4-6 after months Phase 2 ideally). Uh most raid guilds have everything on farm already and with no BWL raid content until phase 3 people are going to burn out on running MC and Ony. Phase 3 isn’t until some time in the new year which is way to far away. They need to drop ZG early into P2 to give guilds something to do between now and then.

Yes, that is true. They never did state specific timings. But what is the point of a six phase roll out plan except to mimic the power curve of Vanilla (which that blue posts states)? That power curve is directly related to the pace of the game, and the moment to moment gameplay. Classic was designed from the ground up for a deeper, slower curve than Retail is now. That’s the whole point.

If a vocal minority of frankly monumentally entitled, petulant baby-gamers rush through everything (exploiting bugged raid experience mechanics to do so, and poop-socking the first 2 weeks just to be “first”) and then demand more content - too bad for them. The core player base is enjoying the ride, and that ride is directly impacted by the raising of any power ceiling.

Classic is not BfA. Deal with it.

Fixed that for you. This goes both ways. Your made up stats that only allow you to say things like “Many people” without a single percentage or number just shows how completely clueless you actually are.

What do you think these people who took months of content for most people and rushed it in a week will get out of content patches exactly my guy? Like what? They will find some exploit if possible or will run with the private server guys to down the raid instantly and come back crying some more, its an infinite loop. The best thing to do is take it nice and slow, let the guys who hate the game and rushed everything go exploit and rush something else, this clearly wasn’t actually made for them and never was. They changed as people.

The game has been out for 8 weeks at this point, we’re long past the point of being able to complain about how the only people at 60 are the people who rushed it.

All we have to go in is that blizzard does have the real numbers and based on them pushing out diremaul and that they seem to be prepping for phase 2 it’s a lot more likely that there are lots of people at 60.

896 hours awake.

Average guy hits 60 in roughly 8-10 days played 200-240 hours.

Dividing that out, you would have to spend roughly 25% of your time awake playing WoW. That’s if you hit 60 on the 8th week. No job or responsibilities factored here.

And? It’s unrealistic for you to expect blizzard to delay every phase just so a handful of stragglers can catch up. While I get that there are some people who for whatever reason just leveled slowly a lot of people are 60 and are ready for more.

The vocal minority at this point is the people like you who didn’t level in a reasonably timely manner. 7-8 weeks is more than enough time to hit 60 even playing reasonably casually.
