You’re on an ok balanced server compared to some of the others. Go play on skeram or stalagg and say it’s working ok.
or Fairbanks.
Okay, No problem.
I originally made this character to play alliance anyway but sure. I’ll reroll.
This is fair. This is less likely and harder to pull off too.
On top of players getting pretty angry at you and blacklisting if you repeatedly follow them around leeching kills (which you can already do today).
Fair point though.
Nothing I proposed would “fix” or “prevent” the problem.
They are more designed to mitigate the “bad” behavior that the current game systems essentially encourage by making them the most time-efficient/effective options.
Well said.
I mean, with all the horde groups rolling around doubt anyone would notice.
BGs would help massively though, to at least mitigate it.
Great. Is there any reason to believe that that won’t eventually be implemented?
So… “problem” solved.
Awwww how cute a grammar & insult warrior
Now bow before the Mighty Horde Empire Alliance peasant and surrender back to retail
After how many subs are lost?
I am not sure what Blizzard thinks or wants. But, I would imagine that hopefully, after all the subs of people who are threatening to unsub, because they got exactly what they signed up for, and don’t like it.
They signed up for pvp, vanilla pvp, not massively unbalanced servers where the lower side doesn’t have much of chance.
You keep thinking people complaining don’t want to pvp, they do, there’s just not pvp happening, it’s just large groups ganking people as they land.
Business wise? No reasons at all if they want to keep players subscribed.
The only thing that could prevent it is the “Reroll or Git Gud attitude”. If Blizzard is listening to them, then PVP in Classic and the Classic experience is doomed to fail in the long run.
Nope. They signed up for pvp, Classic pvp.
"sorry you made bad decisions on chosing a server? "
Hw was anybody suppose to know what the faction balance was going to be when they rolled there, on top of blizz letting the minority faction leave the server.
I bet you are one of these really bad workers that can’t solve problems at work.
People expected a Vanilla-like experience, Blizzard promised an “as close to vanilla-like” experience as possible.
80/20 servers are not even close to vanilla like.
Someone looking ahead instead of the being near sighted.
this is the correct question. hopefully after “enough” subscriptions are lost.
Why start a crybaby thread to complain about “crybabies”, people who don’t like what you like or happen to be on a different server type?
Did your mom drop you on your head?
A lot of people are already back in BfA or other retail content. What’s it to you? Why do you need to drive people out of classic into retail or out of the game entirely?
They are though.
Faction balance has always been an issue and still is. This is why to this day we still have “horde servers” and “alliance servers” basically.
There is no benefit to being on the lower faction. Harder to find groups, getting camped, AH is harder (until they were merged), etc., etc.
PvP aside - you were literally gimping yourself on several levels.
So people naturally would free/pay transfer away and servers ended up tipping one way or another.
Even to this day - they do a pretty shoddy job at encouraging lower faction participation. They sort of tried addressing it for the first time in BFA with warmode bonus (though xp is useless at cap which shows a severe lack of follow through on their side).
I can’t speak for the newer servers in vanilla, but the launch servers were extremely balanced.
Most had multiple good raid teams on both horde and alliance, and pvp was pretty even.
No one ever dominated something the AQ gate event on Mannoroth, it was back and forth.
