Just gotta throw out some counter balance for all the negativity in the fourms. World pvp is fun, dont just sit in hillsbrad. go pvp and make friends nerds. quit crying and enjoy what you have while its here.
Not saying i dont want bgs, but keep rushing everything and we’ll be back in bfa before you know it. Jesus so many cry babies. just make a group that can actually get work done and stop pretending you by yourself should be some unstoppable force.
Agreed tbh. Bunch of crybabies complaining about pvp happening on a pvp server. Retail got the way it is due to people crying to blizzard, same thing will happen to classic.
No one is crying about skirmishes and hillsbrad PVP.
It’s the following that triggers people:
Instance entrance corpse camp.
Griefing
Flight paths camping
Should people have seen it coming? Some experienced players yes. Some less probably not. But after all it’s an online game where being a jerk is rewarded.
It’s easy to fix the issue without releasing BGs and " being back to BFA".
Just allow PVP to PVE transfers for a fixed timed period. That way the people that realised PVP servers are not for them, or the ones that don’t have the time to play it that way will be able to still play a character they invested time in.
For the PVP guys that stays, it does not change anything. In the end people will go either by re-rolling, unsubbing or transfers.
Personnaly I am not looking to transfers since I plan what I do in-game in function of the PVP. I have not been griefed or corpse camped a lot.
Real easy to say that sitting on top of a huge horde dominance.
Go roll alliance on skeram or really any server that’s not Heartseeker or Grobb (since you can’t roll on your own) and come back and say that wpvp is working just fine.
70/30 or worse on almost every pvp server is not fine.
i face all these “issues” on herod all the time, i got camped for 10 minutes yesterday by some group of alliance at azshara fp trying to get my quintessence. i just choose not to complain because its the nature of the game and ultimately its to be expected. but god forbid something not go in favor of every player in a modern game society.
These players are getting camped for hours by 100s of horde.
Let’s take your average run for a 50+ to go do brd.
You get your group together and fly out, land at the FP, die to the 40+ man group camping the fp. Corpse run for a bit and finally get past them, die to the 40+ man group camping BETWEEN the FP and BRM. Corpserun for a bit, finally get past them, die to the 40+ man group camping the entrance to BRM. Corpse run for a bit, finally get past them, die to the 40+ man group camping MC. Corpse run for a bit, finally get past them, die to the 40+ man group camping BRD. Run out of time for your dungeon and accomplish nothing because there is zero way for the small alliance population to deal with it.
What do i have to enjoy exactly? I try to quest on my warlock, i am camped by groups of 5-10 60 horde. I go to ZF - paying 1g for a portal to darnassus because the menethil boat has been camped for days by raid groups. Upon landing, i am ganked in gadget by players on the roofs. A naked level 60 mage pom pyroblasts me the moment i rez in full view of guards. I then corpse crawl my way to the dungeon over the course of 45 minutes while being again, camped by groups of 60s waiting for my 2 minute rez timer. i finally corpse crawl successfully to the ZF entrance, only to meet another group of 60 mages aoe’ing the entrance to the instance. the group falls apart because 2 people now no longer have enough time to complete the instance. i log out, having achieved nothing.
Whoa a horde is going to stay subbed… now this right here is a shocker who would’ve ever saw it coming that the dominant faction doesn’t mind how things are currently
Yeah, that’s about right. Most forward progress is achieved by the max range you can rez from your corpse. If you haven’t experienced traveling via corpse runs only, you’re not really grasping the situation of being on the underpopulated side. It’s time consuming and tedious. But it does give you an opportunity to whine on the forums about it while you’re running.
sorry you made bad decisions on chosing a server? Sorry you dont have friends or a guild willing to help? sorry you put yourself into these positions? Sorry the world doesnt cater to your every step? Sorry modern school education doesnt teach you how to file your taxes?
Well first off, there wasn’t really an option to choose the population of a server. It probably should be assumed the horde will most likely outpopulate you because their PvP racials are imba but aside from that…
Yeah whining doesn’t do anything. It will be interesting to see if Alliance organizes themselves to try and combat the superior numbers. I don’t have my hopes up, though.
