I wrote it from the perspective that you actually wanted to play the game. If you don’t actually want to play the game and want the rules changed, then you want to play something else. Your only recourse in your particular example is to get people to help you. And if they won’t or you won’t ask or it takes too much time to wait for them, then you aren’t acknowledging that as part of the game.
Anybody less than level 52 or 53 should be rolled by a 60 regardless of gear to be perfectly honest. Sorry to burst your bubble, but thems the ropes. There’s no improving them unless you get a little proactive and either chain run instances to avoid WPVP altogether, re-roll, or get people with 60s to come help you.
Kurinaxx has more Horde than allies, but the alliance has people farming and camping just like the horde does particularly in lower level zones. You can either say “woe is me” or you can work with others in your faction to fix it. Either way, a PVP server is not going to be fair or convenient compared to a PVE server.
Our server’s LFG channel is now full of people saying “need help in Desolace, ally death squad.” And people that want to PVP are flying all over the place to mop up the death squads.
You are only taking it personnal by having this kinda of authoritative moral lesson giving personnality.
By the way blizzard isn’t an organisation trying to teach people about making choices and living up to them. They are money-making company. They will look for ways to retain the most subscriptions. And for that they will open transfers.
Having these transfers will change absolutly nothing to the WPVP.
my original post detailed the debacle that is attempting to quest, giving up on that, and then attempting to get to gadgetzan and join a group to do ZF on my level 47 warlock.
You’re rambling on about my 60 priest, priest talents on a warlock, and telling me to ‘form a group’ (i was in a group?) to “outplay” level 60s as a level 47.
Next time, read first, then reply and save everyone some wasted time.
To allowing a whole subset of players to actually play.
The people complaining aren’t complaining that they don’t want pvp, people rolled on pvp to pvp. They’re complaining that they can’t even PLAY because there’s nothing but horde (or alliance on a certain server) kill raids just rolling through every zone murdering anyone and if they even try to get people together to do something, they’re so utterly smashed by imbalanced server numbers it’s not even worth trying.
People get to solve their problems the way they see fit. If they see the best option as quitting the game that effects everyone’s game play negatively. Pvp-ers will have less or no one on the other faction to play with. Blizzard will invest less resources in a game with fewer players and even players on pve servers like me will be affected. I’d prefer blizz gave better options that would keep more of these players in the game.
I am not saying otherwise. But by implementing transfers PVP to PVE that won’t change anything to the mechanics of WPVP. So your happiness will stay intact.
This is an argument that I take issue with. Everyone can play. The problem is that people are forcing themselves into PVP servers, then demanding that PVP not happen.
Get out! Stop being on PVP servers! REROLL! What else is there? STOP ASKING FOR HANDOUTS!
It’s very simple, the game isn’t fair. You lost, sometimes you lose. Doing PVE on a PVP server without respect for it being a PVP server leads to you losing alot. Being a level 47 means you will lose alot anyway right now.
Saying “this needs made more fair” means you actually don’t like the game.
Saying “this is a hopeless situation” in regards to your level 47 vs. a level 60 is right from a strict toon vs. toon perspective but dead wrong that your faction or guild is flaccid in its response to assisting you or others in a similar circumstance.
At this point I’d be happy to give them that, people wanted pvp, but they wanted vanilla pvp.
This is an abomination caused by people knowing this time that Horde had better pvp racials and everyone rushing to 60 to farm Honor. This is not vanilla like in the least.
