In every situations you will loose your competition. People will not tolerate to get ganked and griefed over and over. These players will :
Reroll
Transfer
Unsub
With Blizzard and the PVP community not willing to change anything about the rules of PVP (Which is okay in itself), the outcome will always be the same.
And thus the era of welfare epics is born. Killed ultima online, killed og wow. I sure wish it meant anything to anyone anymore to actually have to work for something. or to get stronger if youāre being griefed.
Picks undead priest to have to not try at all. Picks horde because screw having to try. Then bashes people for ācryingā because they getting camped by raids of horde as a heavily underpopulated faction player.
Thesmite, the coward.
I canāt even imagine how bad the average horde player is on horde dominated servers. (or alliance on a hugely alliance based server so like 1 right?). Like even on a 50/50ish server itās crazy how easy it is to wipe more players just being a little coordinated. Imagine being coordinated and meeting these over populated players with equal to slightly lower numbers and how bad they would lose not being used to having to actually pvp.
Aka thesmite imagine how bad Thesmite must be at pvp lol.
Iāve 1v1ād bad players that are higher level than me in better gear and Iām not especially good. I specced for as much resistance reduction as I can and thatās all you can do. Yeah you get resists, but a priest saying it is somewhat preposterous. You have a flat 10% reduction to your fear in your talents no matter what spec you play. Nobody is stacking shadow resistance now either.
10% is MASSIVE. If you donāt understand the value of that or that you need to adjust your talents based on the fact that you play on a PVP server and that people are geared better and leveled higher than you then thatās on you and you should probably play on a PVE server where you can take every regen talent there is and ignore PVP entirely.
At the very least, Shadow affinity will let you fear them and put your defensives up or run away.
Actually i picked undead priest because i like the casting animations, thanks though. everyone knows troll is clearly superior. Also, my achievements to date are linked above. thanks for your time.
I understand that. Iām trying to point out that also a big part of the playerbase are extremely happy with their choices! PVP, especially on the realms with massive disparity (on the lesser populated side) is AMAZING!!!
Personally, I cannot understand how someone can feel comfortable with themselves, posting something on the forums like, āPlease let me transfer to PVE.ā when they made the choice themselves, and they can simply reroll.
Yes, they knowingly spent an amount of time that they chose to spend on a character on a PVP server, knowing they could not transfer to PVE servers. That hasnāt changed.
If it does, then great. Iām not trying to stop a change from happening; though I am certainly not an advocate for the people who made a mistake and now want someone else to solve it for them. It is not something I admire in others.
I suspect that what will be good for Classic is if the people complaining about PVP happening on PVP servers leave.
The term in which i used it was a placeholder. In tbc you still had to farm blues to get rep to get gear to do raids etc. you worked your way up. not ding 120 boom ah ilvl boom raidfinder in 2 hours
So, a level 47 vs a level 60 = 63% chance to resist spellcast. Being that my alt is a warlock, not a priest (this priest is 60ā¦ why would i level another?), i can put 5 points into suppression for for -10% resist to affliction spells only.
This leaves me with a 53% chance for my dots, deathcoils, and fears to be resisted, and 63% chance for my destruction spells to be resisted. Please explain to me how you feel one should āoutplayā this, while being wailed on by level 60s. Iāll wait.
That we can implement now? Or that require people doing nothing, but complain, and whine, and hope someone else solves their problems?
I may be phrasing that in a way that you donāt like, but thatās how I view it. The complaints sound like complaints to me. The inaction and the refusal to take responsibility for oneās own decisions is not something that makes me want to engage in a constructive way with people who are actually the problem.
