Don't get screwed by account merger and consolidation

But that’s not something that they’re able to do. You might have thought that was what was happening, but it wasn’t. They were moving your WoW account from one [battle.net](http://battle.net) to another. That’s it. They don’t offer a “merge” option to make two [battle.net](http://battle.net) accounts into one.

They were the ones who knew there was some risk in crap being lost and failed to tell me that.

There’s actually no risk. What there is however, is a misunderstanding of the service they offer and the restrictions that come with it.

I don’t doubt for a moment that you told them what you wanted to accomplish, so I’m not arguing that at all. Just telling you that it’s not possible. As such they should have explained what they are able to do along with the restrictions that come with it.

You are incorrect here. They can merge two accounts (licenses) into one into one if both accounts are under the same name and information.
This will now equal to one login instead of two.

Nope, they really can’t. Go ahead and ask over in the Customer Support forums. They cannot smash 2 WoW accounts into 1 and they cannot smash 2 battle.net accounts into 1.

Your joke argument is with blizzard staff who told me quite clearly that, the one mount for instance, SHOULD still be on my main WoW account…YET IT ISNT.

He KNOWS full well that we are ALL talking about the same thing here…moving a WoW account from one bnet to another bnet.

Each sub only accesses one single WoW account. Since WoW accounts can’t be combined/merged into a single account, both accounts require a subscription still.

The only way to completely “merge” would be to pay to transfer all characters from one WoW account to another.

Facts:

We will only combine Blizzard accounts registered to the same user. Account consolidations are not reversible and not all accounts are eligible.

Note : You will no longer have access to a Blizzard account after we move game accounts off of it.

I absolutely DID have them move my second WOW account from the Bnet account it was attached to over to my MAIN Bnet account.

yeah…they ‘combined’ the two WoW accounts that WERE under TWO Bnet accounts into one Bnet account.

I haven’t seen anything that showed that the OP or Taienna have opened a ticket to ask for a reversal. So I’m not sure where you’re getting that Blizz is refusing to fix it. I’ve even suggested that they ask Blizz to reverse it.

They state in the support page that they won’t reverse anything. Clearly you didn’t even read what you’re trying to peddle.

You’re arguing semantics, dude. Blizzard and battlenet accounts are the same exact thing, they’ve changed the name multiple times.

You clearly are trolling here or reading is hard for you… he combined two accounts into one; thus one (1) login. Once Blizzard did this; the second account is no longer in existent and is irreversible.

They should also not use the word combine, because it implies that both accounts are turning into one…like they state it does…

But that’s not what’s stated. This is:

Each Blizzard account supports up to eight World of Warcraft accounts. We can move a World of Warcraft game account to another Blizzard account if all accounts are registered to the same account holder. These moves are not reversible, and some accounts are not eligible.

Each World of Warcraft account contains its own characters and requires a separate paid subscription. Aside from the character transfer service, which can move characters between accounts, there is no way to merge progress from multiple accounts.

So there’s no merger. It’s moving a WoW account from one Bnet account to another.

So basically if you have the following:

Bnet1: WoW1 - WoW 2

Bnet2: WoW1

And then you decide you want Bnet2’s WoW1 account on Bnet1, this is what happens:

Bnet1: WoW1 - WoW2 - WoW3

Bnet2:

So anything on Bnet2 stays with Bnet2. The now WoW3 inherits everything on Bnet1 and loses everything from Bnet2.

Now, in Taienna’s case, if I’m understanding this correctly, they’re missing things from Bnet1 when the now WoW3 was moved from Bnet2. (Using the same example for clarity.) And that’s where I’m confused as to how that happened.

Spent over half an hour on the phone discussing what WOULD and WOULDNT be ‘moved’ over to my main Bnet account just so I knew what to expect.
At no point did they say that random mounts would be lost…or could be…or characters that were on WoW 1 would end up being ‘moved’ to WoW2, which absolutely happened as well.

Shoddy job. Very shoddy.
