Don't get screwed by account merger and consolidation

You are incorrect here. They can merge two accounts (licenses) into one into one if both accounts are under the same name and information.
This will now equal to one login instead of two.

Nope, they really canā€™t. Go ahead and ask over in the Customer Support forums. They cannot smash 2 WoW accounts into 1 and they cannot smash 2 battle.net accounts into 1.

They can move a WoW account from one battle.net to another, but it stays as a separate account.

Sorryā€¦ that is incorrect againā€¦ It is not called ā€œmergeā€ it is called combine.

Okayā€¦they also donā€™t ā€œcombineā€ WoW accounts or Battle.net accounts from 2 or more accounts into 1. Itā€™s not a service they offer and not something a GM can do for you.

Go ahead, post in the CS forums. Prove me wrong. Search that forum for a blue posts that supports your stance.

Iā€™ve already linked the official Support Article which shows that Iā€™m right.

No, my question isā€¦ could he once again merge the accounts, making his other account with all the mounts and achievs the main account.

youve been proven wrong a few times here. Not accepting reality doesnt alter it, sorry to say.
Your joke argument is with blizzard staff who told me quite clearly that, the one mount for instance, SHOULD still be on my main WoW accountā€¦YET IT ISNT.
She just said they WONT replace what was lost.

This is getting embarrassing for you at this point.

Itā€™s possible that Blizz could move the WoW account back to the battle.net it originated from and then they would have access to the same stuff they used to.

So actually, if he only pays one subscription, he can only play part of the characters on the merged account?

But youā€™re not being clear. Did they say that they canā€™t replace that on the original account or on the account you moved your WoW license to?

hes just playing a semantics game.
He KNOWS full well that we are ALL talking about the same thing hereā€¦moving a WoW account from one bnet to another bnet.
He just wants to argue wordsā€¦

Each sub only accesses one single WoW account. Since WoW accounts canā€™t be combined/merged into a single account, both accounts require a subscription still.

The only way to completely ā€œmergeā€ would be to pay to transfer all characters from one WoW account to another.

Youre not getting any more from me other than to tell you that youre wrong and playing word games that we ALL can see.

The words are important. Pretended theyā€™re not is silly.

I look forward to reading your post over in the CS forums.

Sorry again, but you are incorrect here.

Facts:

We will only combine Blizzard accounts registered to the same user. Account consolidations are not reversible and not all accounts are eligible.

Note : You will no longer have access to a Blizzard account after we move game accounts off of it.

Article 2627 from their support page.

See that word you posted? See how itā€™s not Battle.net accounts?

/ughā€¦

Itā€™s cool. I tried to help clarify and explain how it really works. You donā€™t want to listen or canā€™t seem to grasp the help.

Open a ticket or post in CS. Nothing you whine about here will change how it really works.

what on earth are you talking about?
I absolutely DID have them move my second WOW account from the Bnet account it was attached to over to my MAIN Bnet account.

yeahā€¦they ā€˜combinedā€™ the two WoW accounts that WERE under TWO Bnet accounts into one Bnet account.

They state in the support page that they wonā€™t reverse anything. Clearly you didnā€™t even read what youā€™re trying to peddle.

Youā€™re arguing semantics, dude. Blizzard and battlenet accounts are the same exact thing, theyā€™ve changed the name multiple times.

Hast a list of GAME ACCOUNTS, once again youā€™re arguing semantics. It says GAME accounts to consolidate BLIZZARD accounts. A GAME account is NOT a BLIZZARD account.

Was clearly not communicated when told to OP.

If it was a paid service, Itā€™d definitely be false advertising considering they say itā€™s consolidating 2 accounts into 1.

Exactly, which is why they need to state it like you did and not that two accounts will be turned into one.

You clearly are trolling here or reading is hard for youā€¦ he combined two accounts into one; thus one (1) login. Once Blizzard did this; the second account is no longer in existent and is irreversible.

But thatā€™s not whatā€™s stated. This is:

So thereā€™s no merger. Itā€™s moving a WoW account from one Bnet account to another.

So basically if you have the following:

Bnet1: WoW1 - WoW 2

Bnet2: WoW1

And then you decide you want Bnet2ā€™s WoW1 account on Bnet1, this is what happens:

Bnet1: WoW1 - WoW2 - WoW3

Bnet2:

So anything on Bnet2 stays with Bnet2. The now WoW3 inherits everything on Bnet1 and loses everything from Bnet2.

Now, in Taiennaā€™s case, if Iā€™m understanding this correctly, theyā€™re missing things from Bnet1 when the now WoW3 was moved from Bnet2. (Using the same example for clarity.) And thatā€™s where Iā€™m confused as to how that happened.

Exactly.
Spent over half an hour on the phone discussing what WOULD and WOULDNT be ā€˜movedā€™ over to my main Bnet account just so I knew what to expect.
At no point did they say that random mounts would be lostā€¦or could beā€¦or characters that were on WoW 1 would end up being ā€˜movedā€™ to WoW2, which absolutely happened as well.

Shoddy job. Very shoddy.
