Don't forget Allied Races in 9.1

As someone that colors my hair the Maroon color that Void Elves have in real life and has a tanned skintone like this character I find that highly offensive because a lot of the colors Void Elves have currently are socially accepted colors.

I did not mean to offend. I like the maroon color. But I also really like white and blonde. Should I be punished into playing Horde when I do not wish to, just so I can have a blonde elf? It’s not easy to switch faction, it means leaving your friends behind and possibly your loved one, if they do not wish to follow.

They couldn’t even give Night Elves a proper blonde. Still laughing at that one, but at least my shen’dralar looks like a thrift store threw up on him.

fixed that for you.

Fair enough.

As for this, that answer to this varies from person to person, I personally don’t think factions should be a thing anymore but factions do still exist and since there are Alliance races I have wanted to play I have made alts on Alliance to play them because I can’t play them on my preferred faction.

I’ll get that edited for ya  GIVE TAILS TO WORGEN ALREADYYYY

Still waiting …

I knooow I tottaly agree with that and have made a separate thread in the past about this that the factions need to get united, it’s finally time. This is literally where the lore itself is heading towards, what with Manduin, Jaina, Thrall and Baine being such good pals. Even Sylvanas seems to have respect for Anduin, given that she respected his father.

Pretty much.

I want my Nightborne to look as intended just as much as anybody, they’re my main race when I do dabble on Horde, but I swear every single time I mention them and then dare to mention my main race - a void elf that has full void customization - people start frothing at the mouth and derailing because muh faction identity or something.
Can even be asking for void customization - the thing that actually separates the allied race from the core - and they’ll start throwing a literal temper-tantrum, and then go into a full meltdown if the word blonde comes up anywhere.
Happened with white too on a thread a while back.

There’s been times I’ll talk about freakin’ mechagnomes and suddenly you have people just… randomly going off about how void elves don’t need x or y, when I’m not even talking about them. Or they’ll interject and go on about how Nightborne deserve things when we’re… talking about mechagnomes.

Had somebody get mad once about the prospect of both Nightborne and Void Elves sharing “star freckles” in a Discord once too.

Lol, for real the lore gets changed from xpac to xpac anyway so yes, Blizzard could totally spin it to work if they wanted to.

Aavaros from the Dragon Prince has em’ good. I’m cleaning or I’d dig up more references.

If they give Nightborne and Void Elves both deeper black/purple/blue skin tones that are even darker than what we have now, the contrast would be amazing.

No, just Nightborne should get them. Void Elves don’t need anything else.

This was a joke by the way!

But since we’re thoroughly derailed, what is everyone’s opinion on Bloodelves just… being available to both factions? Kind of like Pandaren. That way Voidelves can get their own, unique customization, and the Alliance players that want High Elves can have them.

Dumb idea? Maybe…But let’s think about it.

Indeed, I’ve seen it all and I’d like more for both races than some would have.

I’m thinking this for star freckles;
