Don't forget Allied Races in 9.1

They should have been a core alliance race since classic.

nightborne always look like they just smelled a wicked fart

They could have made them neutral to begin with, but the past is in the past. We should look to the future

Ewww but lol but still ewww. :joy: :joy: :joy:

I’d really like to see next expansion add a new talent row for lvl 60 and 70 (assuming 70 is the next cap).

And as I said on my first post in the topic, they shouldn’t even be in the list to begin with. They are leaving most ARs in the dust save for mechagnomes, they can wait their turn until everyone else catches up.

Could they use more customizations? Of course, everyone could, but between the lackluster options base races got, and the abysmal choices ARs have, those customizations shouldn’t be a priority at all.

The customizations they need are more voidy options, not more watering down.

This idea that you guys were deserving of a straight up copy from blood elves it’s something I can never get over of.

They messed up with their introduction, but VEs are a much more interesting concept but, since they’re not the same old tired elven trope, they’re not good enough.

You were not slighted no matter how you want to twist it.

You keep bringing worgen into this and making generalized statements about how “everyone is against them” when this is not true. Just because one gnome is foaming at the mouth about some obscure, barely logical lore bit, doesn’t mean it’s a general sentiment.

When you continue to want to step on the uniqueness of blood elves, however, yes, you will get a push back.

As if the customizations have stopped it

Also, I like how this sounds like “give me what I want to face the spam”… not a good look, but admittedly, is not the first time I see this.

This is… a take…

Hardline no.

The Sin’dorei themselves are deeply rooted to the Horde now, and with the introduction of void elves, they’re clearly setting up for a light vs void dynamic with them. If we get a cosmic war expansion, it’s likely they’ll take a bit of forefront to it.

What is available to both factions are the quel’dorei - the traditionalists.
I’m actually surprised they haven’t written anything into the game about this, because it’s quite likely that quite a few of the silver covenant/scattered rangers/civilians that remained with the Alliance would have nope’d the hell out when they saw the Alliance taking in void abominations. But this isn’t the thread to debate lore.

Keep the Light (and potentially dark ranger) customizations for Horde and expand upon them. Expand mildly on the high elf subrace for Void Elves, but then dive hard into the void customization as well.

Are you counting the Void Elf faces that are just duplicates using the new skin options because I don’t think that’s a fair comparison. Void Elves only got 2 new face options, not 10.

You had 14 years to get over this.

I’m counting the options available.

I don’t cherry pick. Options are options.

Lol, I looked away from my phone for a couple and it was like bam huge Midare post. :yum: :yum: :yum:

Yea no, I’m sorry but I don’t think that’s fair. Choosing one of the new skin tones completely locks you out of the original void elf faces 1-8 and faces 1-8 with the new skin tones are the identical. You’re basically counting 8 faces twice for each sex.

Alliance players like to be all-like, “Void elves need Blood Elf options!” but where does that leave the Horde? You basically GET our race without us getting anything in exchange. I don’t see y’all petitioning that Nightborne get all the Night Elf options.

This is a great compromise, I believe.

yeah I find that very weird they did that, I believe humans are also affected with this similar case with the new skin tones, acting as if they were dk skin colors that need the face.

That seems like a way to discount a lot of options and make them look as if they don’t have many options, which is objectively false.

But if you want to count the options that lock you out of other options, then everyone would see lower numbers.

I wouldn’t mind Blood Elves, or any race for that matter being neutral.

Yea but you’re basically counting 8 faces for each sex twice with Void Elves because 8 faces for each sex are identical, just one set of 8 uses the original skin tones and the other set of identical 8 faces are for the new skin tones.

Same. . . best not to discuss it here, because it’ll open a can of silkworms, but factions are definitely a relic of the past.

Well Void Elves do have two different sets for looks and no other race has that so I’m not sure it’s fair to say it shouldn’t count twice because customization is customization.

You have not countered most of my argument, so I will repeat:

It is not only a matter of which Allied Race has the most customizations. It is also largely a matter of popularity and demand. I think we can agree that Void elves and Blood elves are very popular races. That’s why Blood elves have so much customization, and why Void elves have the most out of Allied Races, although they are much more popular than mechagnomes, who for some odd reason have 140+ customizations.

The only thing remaining to give Void elves is some hair customization. I don’t even care about the tattoos, I can get that removed from the list. But, like Nightborne, their hair styles and hair colors specifically have not received any new additions since Legion. To completely ignore that and proceed with, for example, prioritizing customization to Kul’tirans and mechagnomes or Dark Iron could be considered largely punishing considering how popular Void elves are and how many people are so hyped about them.

Like I said at the beginning, Void elves are not at the top of the list. But they should not be at the end of the list either just cause they got skins and eyes.
