The biggest problem is that the botters get what they want.

Can honestly say I don’t think botters touch boosts with a 10 foot pole unless Blizzard significantly ups their ban rate. There’s no reason for them to.

I don’t know why people think facts and opinions are mutually exclusive all the time. You form an opinion because you’ve looked at the facts. Madseason isn’t showing you a timeline of WoW’s shifting subscription numbers throughout time because that timeline is based on his opinion. He’s showing it to you because it’s data upon which he formed his opinion.
