You’re missing my point. Council members shouldn’t have an agenda outside to serve the community they volunteered to represent.
Regarding me joining… As I’ve already stated - the council has little guidance or direction. I serve on enough aimless committees at work.
What agenda do council members have again?
Their own personal biases. Ways they believe things should be done. The belief that they won the opportunity to have the loudest voice rather than be a community representative.
Can you link to those threads? I’d like to read them please. The topics that I have been interested in, They have some good ideas and I can get behind. Some ideas that I don’t think are amazing but I can see other people saying it in passing to them. I can see the council members have heard what they have wrote in those post before or thought of it themselves (which isn’t bad). I see community representation in a lot of them. Because I’ve had those conversations in discord with people who aren’t on the CC.

Then it will be easy to find one that has a CC member acting like they are better then everyone else in WoW because they have been selected for the Council
One of the CC members in this very thread was slinging insults at me in another thread. They also wouldn’t concede when I pointed out the flaws in what they were saying (I had blue posts that directly contradicted what was said.)
Unfortunately, the thread no longer exists on the forum. I did save a copy on my computer, however.

It is called a community council because it is a council of community members. Remember, the people on that council are players just like you and me. You and I didn’t facilitate this endeavor, we don’t get a say in how it’s implemented.

Regardless, it remains to be seen if this whole thing is just a fruitless endeavor anyway. For all we know, we could be arguing about something (the community council) that just does not matter.

Well I certainly have the council on ignore.
The entire point of the forums is to broker discussion. Once you make the decision that only some people are allowed to talk and the majority can only listen you’ve completely broken the system.
Imagine if Government picked Government Representatives.
I don’t think anyone with a once of critical thought needs to wait. It’s not like it’s the first time they’ve done this, they had the “secret” discord prior.

Pick your analogy. When the body you need representation with picks the representatives, it’s never in your best interest.
I don’t know, They have not chosen me, and neither have the rest of humanity.
Therefore, I still believe that you continue to ignore our request and have chosen only a few but that they did nothing to improve the quality of the game in front of other MMOs that are about to become WoWkillers.
Deflecting a direct question from an opposing view point indicates that you already know your point of view is flawed and you don’t want to admit it.
It’s called “Community Council” because Blizzard wants to mask the truth, which is that they are “Blizzard’s Chosen.” If any of Blizzard’s Chosen actually represented and cared about the community, the first question they would have asked is “why were the members chosen by Blizzard and not the community?”
im pretty sure the expansion cycle for 10.0 will have been vastly different due to covid.
