Don't Bring Joyous Journeys Back

I don’t think you understand how they can literally do whatever they want since they own all rights to everything that has to do with this. Like do you really think that you as an individual person has more power and ability to get your way because “I’ve been a paying customer for so many years”. You could have been their first customer and not missed a payment since… gives you legit no power or influence over what they wish to do with their property. Don’t like it? Go play something else, or better yet if you are that upset and think they are screwing everything up… go create your own game. You seem to have all the answers, shouldn’t be that hard. Stop complaining and either enjoy the ride, or stop getting on it. You only have yourself to blame otherwise.

Nah like i said, i didnt like leveling in 2007, and i especially dont like it in 2022, but i accept it because i understand there are people who dont enjoy the parts of the game i do (endgame) and only enjoy leveling up and exploring.

u should leave wotlk. we dont need you

I don’t think you understand that they only do things that they think will make them more money and get more people to subscribe to their game. So player’s opinion is exactly what controls their decision making process. And people like you going on the forums saying “weee! I love this change! Thanks for making changes to Classic, Blizzard! More changes please!” is exactly what makes them come up with these stupid ideas. Them being in charge of the game is completely irrelevant to this discussion.

they dont look at these forums for decisions about the game lol

Oh okay so then I guess there’s no point in anyone discussing anything here or reacting negatively to my post.

it’s not a problem, turn it off if you hate it so much

Okay! You’re right, this isn’t wrath.

So now, let’s remove JJ, readd LFD, go back to the PROPER patch (as all the classes are different than they were in wrath), get rid of all this new nonsense they’ve been adding, put all the item levels back to their proper values, and stop making ANY changes since they all suck.

JJ is the only half decent change they’ve made but I’d be willing to drop it for LFD.

Absolutely correct. There is literally not a single change they’ve done that I’m happy about. Well… i sorta was okay with no LFD, but you know what? I’ll gladly bring it back if it means removing all the other stupid changes.

And I’m willing to accept LFD if it gets rid of JJ and all the other numerous changes

Its how I actually see people to be social lol.

I did see 3 other people in Tanaris last night as I tinker with the now 47 hunter.

I could not socialize with them. Horde.

fun things not in low level wow. Most BG’s.

WSG and AB…this is all I get. I don’t like WSG. too much ego flares up there. or worst case you go watch youtube. when gy farmed when other team won’t run flag 3to end the match you get 3 choices.

rage
quit match and lose final honor
watch youtube.

I…watch youtube.

This is an extremely minority opinion that I’ve never seen anywhere but on the forum…the reason Joyous is back is because it was WILDLY popular. This was explained AND announced without an exact release date in a dev interview back near launch.

This very vocal and exclusionary mindset is in my opinion, extremely detrimental to the success of my favorite expansion.

Make non-raid content (or all content) cross server. The social benefit of not allowing this to happen for pvp and dungeons is nice on paper but non-existent in practicality. Anyone who isn’t on one of the very popular and mostly transfer LOCKED realms, cannot experience half the game without significant hurdles.

Leave joyous journeys on. Leveling is already, ironically, a majority SOLO experience because of the EXCLUSION of dungeon finder, which was a decision made for the sake of MORE social interaction.

Add some hateful tier weapons too while we’re at it since the NA pvp ladder is like 300 rating below EU (and even lower compared to original wrath) and base requirements for gear are unusually difficult for an average player. A few weeks of bad raiding luck and no alternative option is all it takes for some people I personally know and many others to simply leave.

TLDR. It’s 2022.

I don’t even see the whole its making it retail angle.

its 50%. I am still killing lots of bugs, animals and bandits in tanaris. the xp comes in better but its not exactly 3 levels in an hour leveling like retail. Its not even close.

its also not depriving my fellow alliance if I ding 50 faster to visit the crater sooner. I have not seen alliance in tanaris. Not with /who, not with lfg, not with my own eyes.

I have seen horde though. Mixed alliance/horde pve doesn’t come till DF. and a pve server so no pvp interaction. so no one gets anything from these meet ups lol.

A huge number said JJ was a bad idea?
There were people saying it was unnecessary but since Blizzard put in the ability to disable it that’s a moot point.

Again, players could ask for anything and everything. The world is not enough. But Blizzard has proceeded with those changes that Blizzard wants to make. Not all changes and certainly not all the ones with the most clamor.

Hyperbolic shouting isn’t going to make it go away but have at it, man.

Imagine defending a stance that reduces player-activity / overworld stimulation

This child / neck-beard is a straight up clown

Over 300+ posts, a few days, and still arguing. You’ve lost. Accept it.

I’ve only seen people crying about JJ going away on the forums too. You’re cherry picking and using confirmation bias.

Blizzard giving everyone 2000g for staying on per hour for 2 weeks would be wildly popular too. Guess what? It doesn’t matter what’s popular. This is Classic. Not retail… if it wasn’t in the original game then we don’t need it. The more things they change the more people will leave Classic. Making Classic like retail is not going to fix it classic.

It’s not your favorite expansion if it’s not even the same as it originally was. It was my favorite expansion too. However, unfortunately it doesn’t look like I’ll get to play Wrath again. Just some retail-Wrath sham.

No. Turn it off right away.

So basically you just don’t want to play Wrath… you want to play some ridiculous wish list version of Wrath that would be irrevocably worse.

“As long as it isn’t exactly like retail therefore it doesn’t make sense to compare it to retail”
Gee… it’s almost like… making leveling easier and easier is making things more like retail. If retail is very easy and fast to level… then making Classic faster and easier to level is IRREFUTABLY making it more like retail. Like I can’t understand how you can possibly say that it isn’t. If it is making Classic more similar to things that retail has… then that is making it more like retail. Obviously we’re a long way away from that… but WE KEEP HEADING IN THAT DIRECTION… THATS THE PROBLEM

I said that a huge number of people said that not sticking with no changes was a bad idea. Which we both know is true. There were infinite posts when classic started out saying no changes.

“Waaaah how dare you suggest that I level at the original pace that Wrath made me level at! I hate leveling! I don’t want to play wrath i want to play Nu-Wrath!”

As usual, a man-child response.

Ad-hominem baby girl

GGEZ…

Continue to show everyone just how un-intelligent you really are. I bet you’re itching to throw a racial-slur into your response too. BIG MAD.

:kissing_cat: :kissing_cat:

Honnestly, you sound like an entitled brat.

I haven’t played much WotLK Classic, admittedly, but I plan to at some point. Good memories were made back then.

Anyway. I really don’t care how other people play the game, I’ll do me, you do you, and that’s about it. While I’ll likely turn it off if it’s still there, I really don’t care if the next guy gets to the raid or arena scene faster. Why do -you- care? It’s not your time, not your money and certainly not your nostalgia that matters most. People are allowed to have opinions, you have yours, they have theirs and Blizz generally tries to go with the more popular for financial reasons which is what any good company would do.

Turn it off, enjoy the game however you like and stop trying to control others. You are wrong, belligerent and clearly in the minority. Perhaps you would get more sympathy if you didn’t act as entitled and insulting as you do.

You can turn it off if you want to. Other people just want to level faster. Surprisingly, not everyone wants to play this game the same way that you do.

speak for yourself.

we were never going to get an exact classic experience. I’m glad we get small things like JJ since we don’t have RDF, and I’m glad your camp are having such a hard time with JJ being in the game.

We all played vanilla, TBC, WoTLK, doing all leveling again in classic, and with multiple times because blizzard ruined servers…pffft. Thanks Blizz for JJ.
