Does Scarcity make loot “Meaningful”?

im perfectly fine being 610-616

its higher than ive ever been. if it was SL, BFA, or legion id be in LFR ilvl for the whole season but instead im near heroic ivl

and i unlocked the heroic good looks through catalyst

What, being able to get 4/6 Hero through solo means isn’t good enough for you?

Remember when we had legendary weapons from 40 man raids in vanilla wow? You knew the names of thr handful of players on your server that had them, they became like celebrities.

We don’t get that feeling anymore because everything is homogenized and given out too freely.

I dunno I guess it would be boring to get everything quicker for most people in the long run. Feeling rewarded when we play is really important imo. Blizz has done a good job of balancing that this expansion. I never had a time where I was pushing and not getting something for it.

Again you fail a 12 key you’re rewarded. You fail to kill the boss you get nothing.

There’s literally no difference between a season reset, and how they did things before DF.

A “season reset” is basically the same thing as a .x patch. It just wasn’t called a season before DF. We’d call it .0, .1, etc.

And when a .1 patch comes out, all of the .0 stuff was immediately obsolete, just the same as what will happen when Season 2 of TWW comes out. So I dunno what you’re on about.

Would you rather being relegated to having to stop at heroic dungeons and a couple pieces of rep rewards? Would you rather being told to pack it up and go home at 593? Because that’s what we used to have, in expansions before DF. You got to max level, you did Heroics and that was it unless you went into M+ or raiding.

if you want to split your time between 3 characters then year your item level is likely going to suffer unless you no life the game.

Yes they are. They are no where near difficult enough to award hero track.

Hero track is to high due to how easy they are.

Well, he did say that he got bored and didn’t feel like grinding, which I can understand. I get that sometimes myself.

So even if he hadn’t gone for alts, he probably woulda stopped playing altogether.

Whatever make it timed only? What a odd thing to worry about.

Insecure much?

<----- The Dead Horse is That Way.

Please go beat it somewhere we don’t have to watch.

No… did weirdos care?

Yeah a mode with infinite replay ability awarding myths track isn’t a big issue. /sarcasm

Yeah we’re gonna just have to agree to disagree.

Nope. Entertained. It’s always funny when people get so mad they follow me into multiple threads.

How did he “follow” you into a thread where he posted first? lol.

Nah. I’ll continue posting it.

You must have a very sad life, if you choose to spend your time worrying about what other people are doing that doesn’t affect you in the slightest.

How did he post first when my first post is before his?

You’re really bad at this.

I live a very happy life actually. If you can’t handle people posting their opinions based on facts maybe the forums aren’t for you.

Also I’m not worried about other people at all.

But the content does affect me because it’s over rewarding.

Inb4 Lucrend has a meltdown about ce level requirements being “required” :joy:

If you think the content is overrewarding then don’t do it.

Nobody is forcing you to do Delves.

Or maybe it’s that you have no self-control and you feel that you must do delves even though it isn’t required? That’s more of a “you” problem than a game design problem.

EDIT: I checked, and yes you did post first, but only 2 posts before Lucrend (it was more than 1h ago so the forums won’t tell me how many minutes passed between those two, they coulda been posted within 30sec), so it’s easy that he might not have even noticed that you posted, as his first 2 responses weren’t even to you. He didn’t respond to you until you said something ridiculously stupid.

It’s funny you think I actually care enough to follow you. I posted something in this thread and didn’t even notice you but you can’t help but to say ridiculous things so I call them out when I see them.
