Does anyone know if you will earn XP in the new AI dungeons?

Could be, but it is obvious that Blizzard wants some sort of drawback so that people don’t abandon regular dungeon finder.

In FFXIV, the drawback was Duty Support bots only single targets making killing groups of mobs take forever. That and no ability, unless you were the god of gaming, to pull huge groups. Not sure how other MMOs handle AI Dungeons.

If people are abandoning regular dungeon finder then that’s a huge clue that it sucks.

I did Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr on a lvl 60 Warrior and it gave me about 23% worth of experience. Not sure how it scales above lvl 60 when you need more than 200K of experience to gain a level.

This is a great point! In fact from the little bit of video I’ve seen of folks on the PTR, the AI followers communicate better than real people do!

i think being able to fly a fighter jet through the dungeons and strafe mobs with fully automatic plasma weapons would be a lot of fun!

that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good change for the game

Because solo gameplay for the same rewards…by default…is easier.

Pretending like it doesn’t effect others when you are asking for the same rewards for easier content is silly.

I think designing this as a way to practice and learn the dungeons is great. Wanting to remove a foundational aspect of RPGs and WoW is a bit too much for me…boo.

Story Mode in Old Republic is a bit less XP and lower rewards. You can still get the decos and pets, but not the same level of gear.

I would think as long as you do damage to mobs n boss to you should get xp for it

You do, just less than if you ran Normal with a group.

Once this gets widely known, I’m sure we’ll see a ton of cries for it to be included.

If the bots level up then yeah I agree with to you but if they don’t then all xp goes to you since you don’t have to share

haha, stop tanking the floor Alisaie!

Anyone knows what happens in an encounter if the player dies? Does it end in a wipe or do the bots continue on if the player decides to tank the floor? In FFXIV, once the player dies, the encounter (whether with trash mobs, or a boss) resets and everyone ports to the beginning of the dungeon.

I have yet to test it myself, been too busy blasting down the mobs.

Copied my 64 Disc. Priest over to the PTR. Did the Ruby Life Pools as a Follower Dungeon.

Now, I have a 65 Disc. Priest on the PTR. Didn’t seem like a lot of experience. Just what you would normally get. I didn’t do any quests.

They’re doing it because the solo casual player refuses to participate in any group content.

So they threw you guys a bone AND putting you on the hamster wheel like they did with raiders.

Good luck doing world content on a WEEKLY basis to get those keys to unlock delves loot

Welcome to the hamster wheel, solo players!

lol what?

I’m perfectly fine with the follower dungeons bro. enjoy them.

sock puppets are so hostile lmfao.

So they are making new crap for PAYING customer lmao…which AGAIN…is NONE of YOUR concern.
you go play YOUR game…worry about what YOU need to do.
