Could be, but it is obvious that Blizzard wants some sort of drawback so that people don’t abandon regular dungeon finder.
In FFXIV, the drawback was Duty Support bots only single targets making killing groups of mobs take forever. That and no ability, unless you were the god of gaming, to pull huge groups. Not sure how other MMOs handle AI Dungeons.
I did Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr on a lvl 60 Warrior and it gave me about 23% worth of experience. Not sure how it scales above lvl 60 when you need more than 200K of experience to gain a level.
Because solo gameplay for the same rewards…by default…is easier.
Pretending like it doesn’t effect others when you are asking for the same rewards for easier content is silly.
I think designing this as a way to practice and learn the dungeons is great. Wanting to remove a foundational aspect of RPGs and WoW is a bit too much for me…boo.
Anyone knows what happens in an encounter if the player dies? Does it end in a wipe or do the bots continue on if the player decides to tank the floor? In FFXIV, once the player dies, the encounter (whether with trash mobs, or a boss) resets and everyone ports to the beginning of the dungeon.
I have yet to test it myself, been too busy blasting down the mobs.
LMAO.
and WE are the ones MAKING the new AI dungeons, right son?
oh…wait…that would be BLIZZARD making that new AI dungeon…lmao.
sorry…WHO wants the the game to be solo again?
