I’ll roll need if the option is there and then sell the item if i win
I’ve never inspected anyone, ever. It just feels like an invasion of their privacy and makes me wonder if its a feature that should exist. I don’t mean the armory or offline stuff, I mean people around me in game.
I wonder how often people inspected me, the thought makes me feel violated.
We should gone back to personal loot in the first place…
That’s stupid. I won’t inspect everyone over one piece of loot.
What’s the issue?
You roll on what you are eligible for, if you want to, as does every other player.
You don’t always win, and that’s intended.
However…
LFR - The one place where I support the addition of participation trophies, since people are under the assumption that they are more deserving of loot than another player.
I do not inspect people, because I do not care what other people have.
Yes, let’s go back to the system that made it even easier for the higher geared folks to get stuff.

yknow sometimes i need things because its like a slight upgrade but then again i lose a significant percent in a stat and im just like well… and then some ret pally messages me and is like “hey do you need that piece?” it was a two hander from the TW we had from ulduar so im like meh nah you can have it, and i trade it to him and then i get another piece where i could use but its like yet again another piece that doesnt match my stat priority and that same darn ret messages me and he is like “you need that piece??” so i just ignored him lol buddy i gave you a piece for free that you did not need to roll.
I sometimes inspect if they have an awesome mog and I want to know the name of a specific piece…but to inspect people to gatekeep gear is wild.

We wouldnt have all this drama with personal loot anyway. You shouldnt be entitled to someone else loot.
Oh I do cause I may be able to trade something I won for something they won.
We had all the same drama with PL. The only difference was the complaints being “geared toons won’t trade away their loot” and “ZOMG toxic whisper spam, can’t even loot the boss!” Instead of “they’re rolling need and stealing loot”

But the thing is that you cant trade with personal loot…
You can if it’s not an ilevel upgrade, and people are complaining about higher ilevel people getting loot out of LFR, so yes, it’d be tradeable with PL.

Ok. Congratulations for dodging that bullet. It was a regular complaint every week though as many of us weren’t that lucky.
With friends, I offer it up and keep it if no one wants.
In pugs, I roll if I think it’s something I will use, and pass otherwise.
When I did raids, yes I would inspect the other tank or another plate wearer for items / weapons cause I didn’t need and would whisper them if they needed them if I was to get something not useful for my main specialization.
I roll need on what I need, and if I don’t get it, I move on with my life lol.
Don’t understand all the people who inspect the winner and then get salty about it.
