I level with it on because I’m a masochist who never knew it until now. Experience gains have nothing to do with anything for me. I’m too lazy to go to Org and turn it off when I could be getting ganked repeatedly and loving (?) every moment of it.
Off. I hate pvp.
Some with, some without. I turn it off once I hit Legion regardless.
If I leveled a character it would be off. I don’t fit in the world PvP community or its attitudes. Warmode would not be fun.
Normally off. Though this last time, I did try it on…I do note I normally leveled later at night, and when it seemed less active. I wasn’t bothered, and left to level in peace. I did however turn it off when I got to legion, and it became more active [more there, as well as higher levels doing wqs, etc]…
warmode off always all warmode did was kill pvp servers.
Always off, not because I’m worried about getting ganked, but because WM is a mistake to try and save an aspect of PvP that’s been honestly dead for years.
My daughter talked me in to using WM on the 2 druids I leveled at the same time (Zand/KT) and it was incredibly fast, got whacked maybe 3 or 4 times total on two toons to 110. Am doing the same on a Mag’har Orc Shaman right now and he is at 60, he got attacked once.
Also, I noticed I have PVP “sets” in my mog menu, so it’s kind of a nice side benefit.
I have never used warmode. And I do not intend to ever use it. I understand if someone likes PvP, but that is not what I want out of a game (except perhaps something like Mario Kart or Street Fighter).
On because it makes everything intense! Off when I want to just chat with people.
Sometimes I chat with people in wm if they’re into it.
When I tried out the Zandalari I turned it on as soon as I could.
On, I don’t ever run into any trouble because I hardly ever see anyone else leveling.
Without… generally I’m not in a hurry and I always forget to turn it on.
Although for the Alliance, I might turn it on. You’re generally pretty safe up until current content.
you only lose something if your alliance, horde where screwed from the start so it didnt matter.
Off, and it will stay off. From the day I started in Jan 2007, until mid Legion.
I played on a PVP server. During Legion, it was to the point that I couldnt
kill anything without being jumped. I finally had enough of it after all
those years, and stopped playing my characters on the PVP server.
I was about to start transferring them over to a PVE server. When Blizz
announced Warmode. So I played my Alliance characters on a PVE
server until pre patch.
Im lucky I guess. Because all those years on a PVP server, and I have never
been camped. But failing to kill a named mob for the 12th or 13th time
in a row because a ganking group comes along every time. That finally
was enough.
Typically on for both alliance and Horde. I only turn it off if i group with friends who do not play with it on.
I leave it on and park my main in that zone somewhere. The occasional gank of course does happen but then when I log in for vengeance it’s a nice detour from the gross tedium of leveling.
I have it on all time even at 120. I have been on a pvp server so long it does matter to me. It what I am used to. I can some wanting its own and that fine. Everyone should play the way they want too.
I despise PvP, but I’ve been leveling my KT with Warmode and so far I’ve only ran into 120s in Redridge and Duskwood. Everywhere else the encounters have been with players around my own level, and I’ve almost always been the one initiating combat.
I turned it on for the first hour I leveled my main, turned it off after I was ganked over and over while leveling. Turned it back on for 15 minutes to get the free 395 piece 4 months ago and have not turned it on since. No reason to. No incentive.
Yeah, I level with it on.
Granted I play on role-playing servers so the only other folks I see are other RPs just working on their characters. Heck, half the time we just ignore each other and the other half we help out if we see someone struggling with a mob or an elite.
PvP doesn’t usually happen unless you’re at max level already, which is fine with me. I prefer a full-level brawl over ganking and camping.
