Do NOT Ban Boosting Communties!

I got to 1600 in Arena one time so I’m actually a pretty big deal :]

What decent guild wants to take part in what amounts to an MLM scheme?

You are clueless. I’m happy about my progress as my first season trying in arena. Post on main.

Instead of spamming trade for hours they could do literally any max level activity in SL and make gold.
They may have had an anima drought, but it’s been raining gold all expansion.

Good riddance to the boosters. It’s just the tip of the iceberg, but ultimately disallowing boosting of any kind is going to provide more substantial longevity for the game.

I can’t see any positives emerging from this, once again it does nothing to hinder RMTers first of all, and then secondly you’re gonna now have 30 guilds and 200 m+ grps spamming their servers trade instead of 20 advertisers. Its going to make trade worse.

And now people who played on lower realms are unable to compete as well as people on higher realms.

Gold is concentrated even more to the people in the top 20/50 world guilds, guilds who are like 100-200 world can’t really make gold anymore.

People who are in like Brazil or other poorer countries will now be unable to afford a sub likely.

People who want to have something to do when they’ve cleared the tier will now lose a big motivator that used to be there. And likely quit for it.

Literally nothing is gained by this, if you read any of these peoples posts, all they talk about is how the game shouldn’t be like it, but they don’t respond to any of the real effects from this stupid af policy. Because clearly if they had the brainpower to do so, they’d also have the brainpower to be able to boost.

See, let me stop you right there.

Players don’t depend on the services. Moreover, they shouldn’t depend on the services.

There are things about the game that you need other people to accomplish. That’s by design. You’re supposed to form groups for the easier ones and guilds for the harder ones. That’s fine.

You’re not supposed to pay someone to carry you through it. That’s not fine.

I think I got 1500 in Wrath. I don’t remember.

(I think every DK got some ranking in Wrath :stuck_out_tongue: )

Sorry, what? My guild isn’t top 200, and you think we can’t make gold?

I think it’s better for the health of the game BUT the design of the game to become more casual friendly needs to happen. People bought boosts for a reason. If you remove the reason to buy boosts, then people wouldn’t buy them. Time to give casual players good gear

There’s lots of alternatives  I’m sure some will do them but others won’t. I’m really just looking forward to seeing the outcome from this change

Of course, your progress will halt.

Good luck doing a mythic sylvanas sale when the world 20 guild on your server will take all the buyers. Not really sure what else you mean?

I’m from the EU, so I can’t do that. Though I wouldn’t post on it anyways just to spite people like you. I haven’t cared to do much PvP because it’s progressively gotten worse every expansion MoP onward. I do, however have 2400+ experience going back to Wrath which was maintained through MoP.

The supply and demand hasn’t changed, guilds who got boost sales before will get boost sales now, they just won’t be forced to go through MLM marketing and give gold to the machine.

Big shocker.

In my opinion boosting has always been around but has been more prevalent as of late than ever before. And I think it’s because of a culture shift in gamers… it seems a major percentage of players want instant gratification and/or want to play a lobby game. And they picked the wrong game for that.

I wish I could feel bad, but… I don’t.

Any chimpanzee can que random BGs, man. That’s not experience. You’re playing epic BGs as an UH DK. Give me a break.

Oh? Feel free to link me your High Warlord, Hero of the Horde, Duelist, or 2k in any bracket. I’m not even good, but I know for a fact I’m significantly better than you.

At the end of the day, I don’t even care about whether I am or not. I care that you’re trying to base your opinion on your “experience” as if you have any meaningful experience at all. It’s like the idiot who rode the bench in High School trying to tell NFL players they are soft.

You’re nothing.

What does that even mean? Come out with what you really wanna say.

Definitely. People are older. If people want a game that’s pay to win and to throw money at, they can download any mobile game on their phones. Enough said
