Do NOT Ban Boosting Communties!

Proof I’ve played this warr for more than 5 weeks, stop being so sure about your research, you’re clearly as good at it as you are at doing pvp.

If you had any experience in PvP you would know what I know and that is that this guy boosted. You are simply a level 34 nobody troll.

like any guild in the top 400 US? IMO

every guild I know of was doing sales through a community. who cares about them taking 20% off the top if it means you don’t have to spam for 5 hours and then pay the person who spammed for you 20% off the top anyways.

it was no different.

Now ive heard of at least 10 people already today getting scammed by RMT/Hacked accounts and i’m just laughing in blizzard because we are back to the 3rd world special meta of half the people spamming trade chat being hacked accounts again.

There may be one positive but it’s just a guess and I could be wrong but if there’s less people buying boosts for gold then that means there’s less people buying tokens so there may be more tokens (not MORE but simply an increased supply because less people are buying) which might make tokens cheaper :man_shrugging:

If that happens that could be good for the people sticking around, if it doesn’t then yeah we are back to no good coming from this

Absolutely, even if boosting wasn’t as big as it is if you have one Houkan seller advertising for a community of 3 guilds now you’ll have 3 guilds advertising so more spam. Since boosting isn’t just 3 guilds and it’s quite large I imagine quite a bit more spam than before lol.

I don’t want to be ageist but I feel like the “gogogo” mentality and instant gratification comes from newer generations of gamers.

Not really, the only evidence you have so far is that ‘not very many people checked them on this specific PvP website so that means they boosted’ when in reality they probably played with friends or people on server, or people that didn’t care to check their rating.

You got my level wrong too lmao

Lol omg. People are so desperate for boosts, they can’t survive a single day.

Don’t worry OP. There will still be dozens and dozens and dozens of boosts to choose from on whatever server you’re on.

I don’t think this guy has friends man.

No. I mean, I personally don’t gain anything, but overall maybe the community is gaining something. There is no real gain from the same boosting community spamming 50x a minute that they’re selling HC Boosts. Maybe it will give servers a bit more identity back as it was before those big communities that overtook the channels.

I don’t believe that. That would require all of those guilds on the server to be part of boosting, but that’s not really the case. Most of the guilds on my server didn’t boost, but it were mostly 1-3 people per guild that wanted to gain gold through boosting and then took part in a boosting community, because their guild didn’t want to. Also we’re a Mythic guild and we really didn’t have to aquire gold through boosting. Maybe some top 100 CE guild that gives everything in the first few weeks needs that, but other guilds don’t. Our finances were stabilized by donations from every guild member and BoEs, while everyone financed just his own potions for raiding.
Those guilds also don’t act professionally, they won’t have 10 advertisers per guild. There will be one person who will occassionally advertise and otherwise will be busy playing the game. That’s just how it was before communities.

That should absolutely not be an argument, sorry. Get scammed then. There’s never been support for scammed people and most players know this. Sure, there might be more tickets, but this should not get in the way of making the game better.
Also tickets from scammed people are from the table very quickly because tickets like these just receive a copy-paste and they’re done with it. Those tickets are extremely quickly solved and there are no exceptions.

Not that much more, no, because most people don’t want to risk their accounts. And they don’t have to, they can still buy boosts from guilds. Those people who wanted to use RMT did already do that and they will continue so.

Boosting is not obligatory. Those people are not “punished”. Not at all. That’s the twisted mindset I was talking about. If they can’t have a boost on a low pop server, that should not be a problem at all. They can play themselves or… don’t. Killing bosses without doing something except paying gold is not a basic right in WoW that should be taken care of by Blizzard. If people on low pop realms can get their hands on a boost - fine. If not - also fine.

I’m mad about your cheap healthcare

Good riddance to this trash. This garbage has infested the group finder and trade chat for years.

Not correct, again showing how much you don’t know.

I am interested to see how it all plays out as well.
Hopefully it leads to better things for the game as a whole.

Are you responding to yourself at this point? It seems like you are… Those words apply a lot more to yourself than anyone else here.

I don’t have a problem with pay to win mobile games. I play them on my phone and spend a decent chunk of money. But WoW is not one of those games and it’s sad that it’s become that way

Cool, explain your sub 50% win rate at 1800 currently since you are a 2400 3s Warrior?
