Do NOT Ban Boosting Communties!

Did you just link me a random BG win/loss box where all of the runs were epic BGs?

You got me chief.

Look you seem reasonable, compared to some of these other freaks at least, can you not see that you don’t really gain anything by this? Other than those organizations you speak of fading away. All that happens now is that trade chat has hundreds of dif m+ boosting grps spamming, instead of the 20 or so advertisers representing the big orgs. Not to mention the rmt spam which is going nowhere.

So in terms of trade chat, nothing changes there.

And now you have a bunch of buyers now getting scammed more often, creating more tickets to burden an already underfunded system.

You’ve got people using RMT services more.

You’re punishing people on lower pop servers.

Like what exactly have you gained from this move? They could have just banned trade chat selling and only the RMT boosters would have remained. But Blizzard is gonna be Blizzard, they can’t help themselves from being incompetent.

This one

There’s guilds out there like this. It would seem a tad unfair to action them for selling carries just because they are a multi-realm guild.

You can always sell carries directly on your realm.
You’re acting completely helpless as if without others to prop you up your guild is incapable of performing basic game activities. I’m not buying it and it sounds like a lazy excuse.
Either way, the change to policy is in effect and I hope they are strictly enforcing it.

I imagine they could do it on their main raid server but possibly not on others? Depends on how Blizzard sees people using boosts and advertising after this I imagine.

At the mercy of the GameMaster

Have to make sure to ban boosting so that the only way you can pay for legandaries to be able to play the game is with wow tokens, it isn’t about stopping boosting, they just need to line their pockets

Strolling by Reddit and I read all the outrage from people that sell boosts and people that buy boosts. Like wtf has this game turned into. I knew boosting was bad but I didn’t realize that just about everyone and their mom was doing it. Good grief

This game is a dumpster fire

My main rogue is pikaboo, now shush. Cease. Arguing about sub-glad rating and weird arguments because you want to insinuate that person bought a boost or something needs to stop, take the L.

This thread is making me realize the fat cat raiders got too complacent relying on the gravy train that was boosting communities funneling gold and buyers to them.
Hopefully they can rebuild all those atrophied gaming muscles that require playing the rest of the game instead of treating WoW like some sort of lobby game.

You don’t have a clue what you are talking about.

experience is experience, experience is not rating. you want to rating shame when i brought up pvp experience. any experience counts. you also forget that plenty of glads show up in epics, and we have an issue where people are buying boosts just to try and pwn in unrated pvp. so given that my favorite game mode is unrated, and is being upset by boosting, i have a valid reason to complain about boosting.

btw, i looked at your profile and its worse than mine, my only reason for being hardstuck at 1700 is that is as high as i can get basically soloing 2s carrying people, as an unholy dk, i need a healer to push higher.

They crapped in the living room and now someone came in and is cleaning it up and kenneling them. Good

you just aren’t a fan of World of Warcraft then buddy. If you have to purchase a boost in order to skip the unenjoyable content
 what is the point?

well the guild could partner with them and gets boosts.

Now no one is going to buy boosts from anyone without a top 500 US guild or else risk getting scammed by the wave of Taiwan scammers that will start hacking accounts for scamming and RMT’ing again which boosting communities helped stop by having a reputable source to buy carries

I swear you people cling to your pre conceived notion of what boosting can be used for, no matter what people tell you. Once again a huge portion of boosting is other boosters alts being geared up. You know, the people who’ve already done the content.

I honestly believe this will be a net negative for the game. I could be wrong, if I am cool :man_shrugging: But I really feel like without being able to buy boosts (buyers) just aren’t going to do the content. They may quit or they may just I dunno be a collector like Kaurmine  Sellers won’t have gold for whatever they use gold for. If it’s for “free” game time that may be the only way they can play. So they may quit as well, not because they are mad but just because they can’t afford to pay for Wow.

I do look forward to watching how this unfolds with morbid curiosity since it doesn’t affect me

“Enjoyable” is subjective.

I do, thanks. It’s weird to be arguing about someone being ‘bad enough to need a boost’ while you’re hardstuck at what would be considered pretty low rating to be quite honest with what appears to be PvP as your ‘main game’ with a bit of side M+ that the said person has you beat in, as well as actually raiding mythic.
