No I’m asking you how requesting a change from the established 1.12 baseline is different from requesting a change from the established 1.12 baseline.
You claimed that DHKs were removed because they were bad. Many other things where changed because they were bad but we’re not demanding those either.
You’re the reaching in claiming that for a tiny window for 43 days out of 758, Honor existed without DHKs, and therefore, forever it should be removed.
Your rotating window isn’t a bad idea as long as the window is 2 years long. I already said that your compromise wasn’t bad. I’m just pretty sure that Blizzard isn’t going to want to fall in line with it. Have your 43 days every 2 years, I’m all for that.
There was a time in vanilla when DHKs did not exist, which is what is being requested be the case in classic. That is not even remotely like asking for something like druid “balancing” that was not in vanilla.
If it is the same ratio of time, what difference does it make what the total rotating time period is? (I suspect because you have no intention of playing classic very long)
There was a time in Vanilla where PVP had no rewards too. Except that neither of those times was the 1.12 Patch. That is the end goal. A recreation of the 2006 1.12 patch. AV is 1.12. Armor values are 1.12. Boss mechanics are 1.12. DHKs existed in 1.12.
Just like people want AV 1.5 and Blizzard is saying no, you get 1.12, you don’t get to pick and choose patches. Fesz might support you, but that doesn’t mean you get it. 1.12 is the foundation and a faithful recreation of that patch is the philosophy they outlined.
You can be as insulting as you want, impugn me all you like, ad hominem after ad hominem, but that doesn’t change the underlying issue that your argument is flawed.
This is not a franken-patch of Vanilla mechanics and gear, its a progression towards 1.12. They aren’t given you 1.5 AV because its not 1.12, and neither is removing DHKs.
As of now, you have no intention of playing Classic at all and you’ve admitted that (Prufinnor is Brokenwind, looks like he got put in time-out for trolling, again.)
Lmao for real?!? I can count on one hand how many civilians I know of off the top of my head… this is really going to help! Just like it did in vanilla! Hahahahahahahaha
Also… right click report was added in tbc but is being added to vanilla to improve the game.
Dishonorable kills were removed from the game in tbc and should be removed from vanilla to improve the game.
Dhks don’t stop griefing at all, they don’t stop ganking at all either. Dhks don’t stop towns and cities from getting wiped out. Dhks just prevent players who actually care about ranking up from participating in organized world pvp for fear someone in the raid pulls a civilian.
Come on broken… we can’t always get what we want. Classic wow community needs people like you! Play!
Also my solution to the whole DHK debacle… just make it so you specifically have to hit the civilian yourself to be eligible for the DHK… this should for the most part get rid of the problem. Players who pay attention won’t be punished because of other people.
I don’t think ultimatums go down well with Blizzard. They’ve already said they’ll make this game even if no-one turns up to play. So if you actually follow through (which I seriously doubt), I don’t think they’re terribly bothered.
I know I’ll be playing because I want to enjoy a real MMO again, “warts and all”.
a Kill count that says “honorable kills”… when you kill someone you get a certain amount of honor depending on their rank… sounds like an honorable kill to me.
