Dishonorable kills should be removed or adjusted

What game balancing systems are they fixing? Everything is financial or technical.

Feel free to look up the differences between classic and vanilla yourself.

Oh, so DHKs are “game balancing” now?

Will you still play it with all of the changes? Ones I assume are sharding/loot trading, which aren’t relevant to this discussion on DHKs.

This is about DHKs. Not about other changes that people have to go look up.

Ignoring anything after Vanilla, DHKs were active for 80% of the period in question. “Shortest lived”? I’d put down those rocks in Silithus for shortest lived element of PVP. Or Korrak the Bloodrager. Or Honor without DHKs, which only survived for 43 days.

Just dont care about honor and kill for fun ez pz no more worries

No. But you’re arguments for removing DHKs are all about game balancing, which is thinly veiled ‘quality of life’.

Then it should alternate between 80 days with DHKs enabled and then no DHKs for 20 days.

You mean 80 days of DHKs, 5 days of Honor without DHKs, and 15 days of No Honor at All?

However number of days DHKs were in the game and number of the days they were not.

Why isn’t it fine just the way it is?

Phase 1 no DHKs and then phase 2-6 DHKs? What is wrong with that? It is very similar to an authentic Vanilla experience.

5% of Vanilla had Honor without DHKs.

I stand corrected. They’d already taken them out by the time I started playing, I had no idea they were in that long everyone always discussed them like it was a short lived thing.

Because vanilla had an expiration date. How are you failing to comprehend the difference?

I’ve left my crystal ball in my other pants.

Then out of every 100 days, have 5 of them be DHK free.

If they’re planning on rebuilding the servers on a 2 year cycle, I’d be totally ok with that. If they lock changes at 1.12, not so much.

Yes, but Classic World of Warcraft is going to be based on 2006 World of Warcraft. This has been stated time and time again. Apologies if you refuse to accept it.

Ion referred to the 1.12 data as “sacrosanct”.

Sacrosanct means… “regarded or treated as being above or beyond interference, criticism, etc.”

So I doubt they’re going to compromise or change DHKs because according to Blizzard, 1.12 data is “sacred”.

Why are you not fighting against the phased rollout then? Shouldn’t it be exactly the way it was in 2006?

I demand my right to have my character fall through the world at random and have mobs stuck under the ground and trees put me in combat as I run by.
