You have to look at the reason why it was put in then ask yourself did it work as intended?
And we’ve addressed that. CP2 no DHKs, CP3+ DHKs. And if Blizzard is willing to do a rotating 2 year reset, you get them each CP2.

Different rules for different servers, would be if we were trying to fix Vanilla as a new progressive game. But Blizzard is not. They’re recreating 1.12 (eventually).
It is an opportunity to correct the issue that was a necessary “change” in '05. The game was never intended to give DHK.

Except that it did. So it will. They never intended to let people grief quest hubs either, but they did. And they will.

Making those units unkillable denies greifers and eliminates the possibility of Rank loss.
Which doesn’t make any sense because there are almost no civilians… meaning there’s a really good chance the quest you are on can get griefed. It does nothing to prevent me killing a quest mob that you need to kill over and over again indefinitely, preventing you from completing a quest.

They can kill players and any other NPC other than the necessary ones to quest.
