There was some dragon mount a bit back that all you had to do to get it was that little LFR sort of instance…in a group, lmao.
They died…and died…and died…and died…and died…and died…and died…to the SAME mechanix so many times that I just said hell with it and never did get the mount.
personally…I’ll take SOLO content to get what I want any day over relying on other players for any chance of getting it.
If its solo, I only have ME to blame if I fail.

QUESTING gear and a few others like the weekly chest from doing the seeds quest in ED are MORE than enough for my level of play.
And I say ‘more than enough’ because I enjoy the resistance…its nearly diminished enough at my ilvl,…i cant imagine how one shot easy world content is gonna be in current if im sportin Mythic or M+ gear.
Hard pass.
I cant very well say in another thread that I enjoy resistance in world content, then go charging in to get geared up in demi god gear to do the content I enjoy.
the ONLY one shot kills I want is when Im farming old raids for mogs…and that is simply a time spent issue, nothing more.
And that’s why we have delves coming, to offer that opportunity to earn rewards as well as that opportunity to fail.

My guy, its an MMO, that means massively multiplayer online. If you don’t want to play with other people or a community then I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, this ain’t the game genre for you.

I am not against solo or group play , except group play needs to be encouraged not forced upon ppl .
Like take rare farming in early days of the expansion for example , you can do it solo or completely face roll it in a group . That’s pretty much encouraging you to group up without putting a big sign saying - Oh no you can’t do this unless you have X number of ppl zzzzzz
As has been stated probably tens of thousands of times at this point over the years, “massively multiplayer” does not directly imply “sweatin’ with 4 bros in a dungeon”. Nor does it imply “suffering pee and water breaks on a raid with 24 other bros in a raid”.
Being an independent player roaming around and through and between the masses (from massive) while engaging and interacting with them in numerous different ways, both individually and via impromptu groups is far more MMO than dungeons and raids.
Right now, I’m literally sitting on an alt waiting for the Sha of Anger to spawn in MoP, and I see 8 other players all waiting with me. Oh, make that 15. I’m now engaging and interacting with more people than I would if I did over an hour’s worth of M+ dungeons. Now it’s up to 20, he’s gonna die fast, woop. And I’m now doing the engagement equivalent of a raid that takes like two hours long, in terms of quantity of people.
Except it’s on my own terms, in my own time frame, and I’m not forced to group with other people to do so. So “playing with other people” isn’t solely defined as M+ and Raiding. Might want to expand your perspective, just a tad.

The weekly caches are currently normal ilvl at most, with the m0 one giving heroic dungeon ilvl and showing up once every 2 months.
My guy, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, this isn’t 2004 and this genre is no longer raid with us if you want to play. We have options now hence the reason many of us are coming back. We no longer have to deal with toxic players like you to enjoy the game . If you don’t like it and want to stay stuck in the past then classic WOW is that way ------------------------------------------------>
