Been playing since BC, with a long break during Legion and BFA… Customer Service has always been a problem.

Be patient. If you got to a blacked out character screen, it means they’ve narrowed down the problem and are hopefully in the process of bringing everything back up again.

It appears to be somewhat working now. If you get the black screen, just wait a few mins for characters to load.
