Reported the curio the day of and still haven’t got a replacement.
Same here, got a 441 curio and they pretty much said good luck. Thanks for being as useless as always blizz.
i got FOOD - “Forbidden Flounder” and didn’t get replacement. just Wow
I had received a response from GM stating the new item was in my inventory however I didn’t receive anything in mail or in inventory.
I received a fish originally.
I just received another response following up stating if it hasn’t been fixed yet there is nothing they can do.
Same boat, I received a 441 Flame-Warped Curio with no replacement in sight. Disappointing!
I got a 441 Curio and this is the answer I got. looks like we are just boned.
"Thanks for contacting us about mistakenly receiving a reward with the wrong item level, or a Fobidden Flounder, or a Flame-warped Curio, from new Season 4 activities that rewarded a Cache of Awakened Treasures.
I understand it’s frustrating when in-game activities don’t work as intended and I am sorry you were affected by an issue like this. Sadly, Customer Support cannot assist with replacing a random item of the wrong item level and so requests of this nature cannot be fulfilled. Any eligible cases that could be resolved by our development team have now been resolved by them: Opened timewalking Cache before hotfix - #31 by Kaivax
If you did not receive a replacement cache, then unfortunately it was not possible to resolve the issue in your case.

Yep, well I’ll keep making noise. But it seems the Devs aren’t doing anything else.
Yea I got the Curio as well without seeing a replacement. At this point, it seems the Devs did what they could to fix it for the “majority” of players, which imo they did. We are just the unlucky ones in the minority who don’t get a replacement, that’s just the way of the road.

Problem still has not been fixed.
The frustrating part is that this was an actual bug, and while some people who got a bugged cache were compensated with a new cache, there are many more of us that haven’t been, even though we met the criteria of opening the cache prior to the hotfix going out.
If Blizz fixes it for some, they must fix it for all

After the maintenance today I did the 5 burning crusade timewalking dungeons turned in the quest and received my cache to open. Upon opening it I received that 441 time-warped curio and not a piece of 493 loot like the cache said.

Customer Support does not assist with missing or undelivered loot for any reason, including if it was caused by a bug. The steps outlined below may help. However, if you are still missing the rewards and wish to obtain them, you will need to do the relevant activities again.
MODERN WOW
If you are missing loot, try to log out, log back in, and then check your in-game mailbox, as the Postmaster system will send loot to your mailbox from the following activities:
- Instances
- World Bosses
- One-time only treasure chests
However, the Postmaster will not send:
- Quest items
- Bind on Equip items
- Items left on corpses in the outside world
- Profession items lost due to having no free inventory space
- Currencies
WOW CLASSIC AND WRATH CLASSIC
Unlooted items in WoW Classic are not sent to your mailbox. Items that aren’t looted will remain on the corpse until it despawns. Resetting an instance will cause corpses to despawn, and all unlooted items will be lost.

I did the burning a path through time for this week and the cache says I would receive a 493 item level piece of gear for completing 5 timewalking dungeons yet i did not. What I received is a 441 item level time-warped curio which is useless at this point. If you’re not going to give me the 493 item level piece then unflagged the quest for me so I may pick it up again and complete for the proper item level piece. It’s not right that I did what I was supposed to and am now not going to receive what it says I should of.

This appears to be a known issue that’s already been hotfixed earlier today. To offer a bit more transparency into how these reports are processed, here’s what our Quality Assurance team does with them upon receiving:
- QA team gets bug report and tests to replicate the bug, attempting to pinpoint the source;
- When QA team replicates the bug effectively it is sent to the Development team;
- Dev team gets report of bug and source then work on resolving the conflict in the code;
- Dev sends back to QA to test the fix;
- QA weighs the bug’s detrimental effect on the world if fixed or not fixed (for example, will the fix actually cause more problems in game than not being fixed);
- QA sends their decision to development;
- Development creates a patch or hotfix for the issue and releases to the community;
- Players download the hotfix/patch.

Received a response from a GM that if the cache was not replaced by now then it was deemed it could not be refunded/fixed. Guess this is what we get for randomly getting curios.
Same thing , got a 441 curio, told nothing can be done, never got a replacement cache.
same. still waiting on my box despite opening my cache 2 hours before the time stated in the hotfix.

i completed the Timewalking dungeon and my loot cache was a 389 item lvl gear put in a ticket and they said it was up to the DEV to fix if they wanted to.
Still waiting on something. All I got was a lousy fish.
