Did they Buff / Fix Mortal Strike yet?

Anyone can pop a FAP, retaliation and say that arms warrior is good. Because most players wont bother countering it since they have a good chance to kill you first.

Sorry for the poor quality. As long as you have a healer your 200 damage auto attacks will EVENTUALLY kill someone or let you stall enough for a ranged class to drop by and kill for you. I think I fought 3 to 4 ppl at once with a healer on me but I couldnt drop a single one. This is will full pvp gear and ashkandi.

If you watch closely the shaman makes the kills with chain lightning or gets them to 1-2% before my swing.

One thing that’s going to be really nice next phase for warriors is getting to put 1 of the PvE set bonuses on PvP gear since stamina is a lot more important for us than any other class. I imagine most will go with 6pc core forged.

4pc draconic might be really good for TFB since most of my damage comes from Slam and Overpower. Hell I might even Q up Heroic Strike more with it, I don’t now because I like big SD crits. Either that or the AQ 4pc.

Looking forward to playing around with the different play styles.

I was thinking about that set bonus thing too, I mean its gotta be the ZG 5 set and a switch to Glad. 10 second shockwaves! thats crazy control.
Been really diggin glad lately SS hits just as hard as MS and survivability utility is great. I usually start my ab games with preemptive shield wall charge the back line shockwave the healers, 5s stun to someone I missed and a shield bash to silence someone else. Its not as exciting as MS but its fun being a menace to the backlines.

Thats pretty much the only way i have made progress in pvp but its starting to be less effective because of expertise now.

I tried the 6pc cut forged in the ptr today and it was feeling really nice

in BRM today I saw my bloodthirst (while in bis pve gear) do less damage than a starfall tic. The gap is so massive I have 0 desire to get the group or rank to stack stam to still die against anyone putting in an iota of effort. You can’t do 1/4th of other ppls damage and have a good time.

it helps but doesnt solve anything, in Cata prepatch the sim of not having Csmash vs having it was 10%. Not a direct comparison but arms will still be doing less dmg than tanks and healers in raid.

Ideally you get a heroic throw with SW:Ds CD that applies 5x sunders. Why spriest and rogue can insta apply 5x sunders (rogue can even AOE apply it lol) but warrior, where sunder is a core classic mechanic, didnt get anything is atrocious. Then let arms do a lot more bleed damage (make rend do real damage, make MS and OP interact to apply bleeds, make MS also do another 100% wpn dmg as a bleed, etc) and that will act like the magic dmg that all the other classes get.

its something, the armor reduction would boost everything, and makes sense since we are pure physical…

smash would be a great idea. I would prefer something baked into MS because of the pacing of SoD a CD reliant armor reducer would be limited use in something like bloodmoon. I would love a self buff like BRE for best uptime and big WW.
But hey beggars cant be choosers.

probably would not put It on ms because it has heal reduction, maybe slam?

I wouldnt mind at all if it was on slam, but I can see the devs not wanting to buff warriors who could possibly use it in PVE.

Yep and that is a intentional design choice. The only chance we have is to ask them to buff the spec that is bottom tier in PVE barely above tanks from what Ive heard.
Asking for a fury buff is a sin around here.

WArr PVP vids are cringe. It’s all geared vs non-geared, full of crits giving rages to enable the kill.

They should really fix the rage mechanic and buff us some damage. We rely too much on WB and gear to double dip.

boomkins, rets, spriests, etc all do 2x arms dps in raid and 4x outside of raid. There is nothing holding Arms dps back except deves hating warrior. You could buff Arms dmg by 100% for it to catch a ret paladin right now
