Really? I missed that. I haven’t done the Suramar story fully Hordeside yet.
Night elven mages are busy in Darkshore or are in the 7th legion. You can see them at faction assaults spamming arcane missiles.
Anyone knows what those 2 night elf siblings from one of the questing zones in legion are doing nowadays? The woman who used all her spells on her brother? They were fun, they made me want to make a Night elf mage.
Rexxar after Jaina, Shaw, Saurfang, Thrall and the player kill Sunreavers upset about the Purge of Dalaran to save Baine:
Okay okay fine. Rexxar clearly has dementia.

Really? I missed that. I haven’t done the Suramar story fully Hordeside yet.
I completed Suramar first on my Night Elf Druid. He is Zandalari now, but still my Main.
Then I did it on my Blood Elf Warlock.
I can appreciate the dual story Blizz tells. Suramar is an example of how it can work. I agreed with Tyrande’s words… but they were petty and cruel.
They only needed to be said if she was eager to reap division.
Ofc she lied.
Belves do have “Sin” in their name for a reason.
But yes it all reeked of shoddy made propaganda. She surely did hide that belves themselves are responsible for quite a few disasters. Starting from raiding churches because they were salty that light didn’t save them from scourge, then almost killing off the Exodar survivors for reasons leading all the way of their own very origins.
So no wonder they get along, they have exact same entilted mindset.
thalyssra may appear polite, but other NB are still incredibly arrogant and believe they’re the best thing that happened to the world.
But truth to be told it only shown NB in very irresponsible light, - I mean, they’re nation that is like 10k years behind when it comes to news about world politics. They should’ve first do a reasearch on what is going on in world to begin with instead of joining faction because one person was nice to them. It’s laughable really.

Tyrande on the other hand was acting out her personal feelings of betrayal and issues she’d been carrying around in her head for 130 centuries.
To be fair to Tyrande, she literally has a past history of nearly being killed and watching a calamity befall the world because a group of arrogant night elves with a strict caste system are recklessly using arcane magic at the whims of a charismatic ruler, who then ended up consorting with demons. Then, she sees the nightborne, a group of arrogant night elves with a strict caste system recklessly using arcane magic at the whims of a charismatic ruler, who then ended up consorting with demons.
I mean…I understand why she was a bit hesitant to just embrace this situation with open arms.

The Night Elves also mock the Blood Elves by putting mana vials in their camp with notes that say “wouldn’t want you to get the shakes”.
Both groups clearly enjoy sniping at each other.

Really? I missed that. I haven’t done the Suramar story fully Hordeside yet.
Those insults were brutal, from the night elves. Like…jeez.
Also, you missed such gems as this from the Kirin Tor Peacekeeper:
Kaldorei, Sin’dorei, Quel’dorei, and Shal’dorei? More like Don’torei. Am I right?
That is a direct quote.

I mean, the High/Blood Elves basically fought a bunch of trolls over territory
And we now know that they worked alongside Night Elves there. Which further makes me question when exactly did they relationship started to go to hell.
Kael’thas and Tyrande were really courteous with each other in WC3, and Tyrande held High Elves in high regard for having put their lives at risk at Mt. Hyjal. I am pretty sure she had a good history with Dath’remar Sunstrider.
Word reached Dath’Remar that High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind had been captured by the Legion and taken to the palace. He was appalled to hear that the leader of the Sisters of Elune had been made a prisoner of the demons. Accordingly, he learned the location of her prison cell and paid her a secret visit. She proved a sympathetic listener, and so he found himself confiding in her. Working in secret, he formed a desperate plan. He contacted all the other Highborne who had come to consider the Burning Legion the enemy. Then he went to visit Tyrande one last time. He explained that he and a group of other Highborne were leaving the palace.
They had agreed to help her escape if she would speak to the night elf defenders on behalf of the rebel Highborne. She quickly agreed, for she believed in the compassionate teachings of Elune and felt that the Highborne deserved a chance to redeem themselves for their reckless actions.`
Nah Druids be sleepin
Kallista and Olothil Starlance.
Near as I can tell they haven’t shown up any other place. For the moment we have to lump them with a couple hundred or so Night Elf NPCs under the designation “Yet to be Determined” on if they survived Teldrassil, Darkshore, or Ashenvale.
It is quite possible they were still in Azsuna since Prince Farondis wasn’t ever able to replicate the mixture the one guy used to escape the curse.
Well Thalyrssa got quite a traumatic “break the cutie” treatment where she would have died if an adventurer that she would have likely looked down her nose at a month before hadn’t saved her. That is likely the cause of a more humble demeanor.

With the Blood Elves putting a Troll statue saying ‘your ancestors’ at the Night Elf camp.
Kind of like a bratty (and stupid) Kid making fun of his own father for being descended from cavemen…
If Horde players could harness the amount of self-pity they have for their oh so woeful experience, they could probably recharge their artifact weapons back to full-power and use them to destroy the Alliance.
You realize this forum is full with Alliance self pity threads too. It is very much a WoW player trait.

Also isn’t it ironic that a Blood Elf would say something like that, when at the time being a high elf they watch the scourge tear through Lordaeron until it was at their front door?
Was there anything they could have done? No one knew what Arthas was going to do when he returned to Capitol City. He killed his father and immediately started killing the rest of the citizens of Lordaeron. His very next step was taking the remains of Kel’Thuzad to the Sunwell. It wasn’t like they had a lot of time to prepare and send help to Lordaeron.
But night elves did hid in trees until war came to said trees and start chopping and burning it.

And we now know that they worked alongside Night Elves there. Which further makes me question when exactly did they relationship started to go to hell.
Remember Auberdine, way back in Vanilla? Remember where it’s one lone High Elf resident was squatting at? A long walk at the end of a long pier, asking you to do a couple of quests for her so that she’d be accepted into town.
Relationships were still downhill at the beginning of the MMORG, and this is after Hyjal.

then almost killing off the Exodar survivors for reasons
Those guys were Legion pawns led by Fail’thas, they’re hostile to playable Blood Elves too if one goes there.
And who was raiding Shattrath until got brain lobotomy by A’dal? Liadrin.
to me it seems like blizzard is trying to push a conflict between nelfs and belfs that really hasn’t been there.
in wc3 they seemed to be best bros.
but blizzard loves to twist the lore so races can fit in one of the 2 factions.
they left liandrin as a liar, manipulative and hypocrite.
but it wouldn’t be the first time that blizzard does this to a character. nor the last.
lets see who will be the next victim in shadowlands, probably tyrande.
