This is a follow up to my previous post in the Arena section, which was written per the instruction of Customer Support in response to my ticket, in which I was informed that the problem I have can only be looked into and rectified by game developers.
I believe I should have received the Crimson Legend: Dragonflight Season 1 achievement and title, however I did not and there is a lot of uncertainty regarding how the end of this season was handled. Myself and many others have made forum posts detailing how they were knocked out of range after the season was supposed to end at 10pm PST on May 1st, and did not receive titles that they should have. I can understand how convoluted it could become for this season’s R1 titles to be determined due to this being the first season there are Solo Shuffle titles, as well as the first time that alt characters are taken into account. I am however having trouble understanding why we have not had any communication on how it was determined who gets titles given the unintentional extension of the season. This same event occurred in SL S1, and we had a blue post the following day explaining how they planned to handle it. It appears that this time, the situation was handled differently and we are all in the dark as to what exactly happened.
Linked below are my post describing what happened to me, as well as a few other posts and comments from people describing the same issue. I also linked the response to my ticket for transparency. I am really hoping this issue can be solved, or that we can at least have some official word on the situation.
Just to note, the devs and their liaison do NOT come to the Customer Support Forum for feedback or suggestions. You would need to continue in the Arena Forum where they do look for such things. The Blizzard posters in this forum are not liaison to them at all and do not pass such things on.
That is unfortunate, but thank you. I am not sure how exactly I am supposed to get this information to any dev and have done everything that has been recommended by both GMs and a community council member to do so.
You get the information to them by posting in the appropriate forum, which would be the Arena Forum for this topic. Don’t expect them to respond unless they need more information.
Someone else already came here a few days ago. Because this forum isn’t the proper place for it, the post was locked. That OP (whom you’ve got linked already) had already posted in the Arena’s forum. You’ve done all you can really do, I’m afraid.
The only other thing you can try is to tweet @WarcraftDevs, see if you get any traction there. https://twitter.com/WarcraftDevs/ The unfortunate truth is that the Devs are not very communicative, but you and all of those others who are posting in the Arenas forum - you’re doing what you’re supposed to. What will come of it? Only time will tell.
I do wish you all luck and hope something turns up for all who are affected by this.
