You think you do, but you don’t.
Nope, see whats about to occur is what already occurs in TBC, the raiders wont be doing heroics, they will be populated by casuals that don’t know how to do their rotation, while raiders still raid log, what got you raiders in heroics after Nax was RDF, but hey at least as a raider I know now there is zero reason for me to step foot into a heroic, I’ll just take my sunwell gear into Nax and skip heroics
Yes… but what do all of those have in common? Strict composition requirements that drastically increase difficulty if not adhered to.
This will be much less of an issue for people in wrath, those not pushing heroic raids weekly as an example.
So it’s not the game that’s actually hard, it’s the roster boss. The mechanics are relatively simple… it’s just people stack classes to make it as easy as possible.
It really wasn’t though.
You can literally just leave wrath alone and stop making ridiculous changes to it, and it will be literally as it was.
They aren’t making classic wrath, they are making their own version of wrath with stupid ideals being injected into it.
Well this sounds awful.
What is this freaking obsession they have with turning WoW into an e-sport? It drove millions from the game the first time, so let’s do it again!
Blizz, easy Wrath dungeons are not a problem. Dungeons stay relevant because of the dungeon finder giving 2 bonus emblems for every random. You don’t need to make them ‘challenging’.
I’m on Whitemane, check my logs. Turns out I thought I did and I did. And they’re continuing that is what it looks like. Makes sense since I obviously engage with their game much more than you do
Original wrath didn’t have LFD until halfway through the expansion when ICC released.
It’s not classic WotLK anymore. May as well call it Wrath reforged. That’s really what it is.
“Challenging” seems to imply “Scaled content to average gear level of party” which seems to get back to “get people to play longer”. This is a Retail mechanic, and if this is the way that “Classic Wrath” is being implemented - well that would just suck.
I appreciate the communication, keep in touch!
What community are you talking to that you get your ideas from…this is not the Wrath we are looking for!
If you’re going to disable racial abilities in arena now that Alliance finally has a usable one, please don’t. Or at least give Alliance some PvE racials to make up for it.
If they want to make changes like this, I think they should just make Wrath Season of Mastery and leave the original alone.
They never explain this.
Given their last reforged title did so well I imagine we can expect the same level of quality from blizzard on this reforge.
You missed the point. Even if this was a carbon copy, a strict #nochanges, the game wouldn’t be the same. Part of what makes online games special are the memories you have, not of the game, but of an experience within the game.
Players mindsets, goals, and ways of achieving those goals are all different from what they we’re back in the day.
It’s like, I can boot up and play Smash Bros on my Nintendo 64 right now, but my brothers or my friends or that kid next door aren’t here anymore, so the experience is going to be different.
Whatever you we’re looking forward to reliving, isn’t there anymore my man.
Yep and guess what wasn’t in any heroics, raiders, you didn’t see TOC geared players in heroics because there was no reason. RDF got that ball rolling, but hey lets continue the same problem that TBC heroics has, and that is that raiders have zero reason to give a flying F about them.
To be fair, there’s nothing ‘Classic’ about tbcc either.
But it was in the patch that is being used to build Classic Wrath…I will do less dungeons and interact with less people with out it. I have almost completed getting my alt army boosted for professions to not need to interact with other people unless I really want to.
I am aware of this
