Just remember there were absolutely no other things in the beginning of Cata that caused a drop in sub numbers it was only RDF. not at all because of the destruction of the old world, where most of my friend group stopped playing because the game become unrecognizable for them. Totally not because of the massively over tuned difficulty of normal and heroic dungeons at all. The new on rails questing was universally loved by everyone yeah? NOBODY hated that at all.
NOPE, the subs only declined because there was apparently a huge anti-RDF movement at that time that nobody has been able to prove beyond anecdotal evidence.
But you do realize that technically the game started losing subscribers after Death Knights were implemented, after Lich King was in the game, etc., too, right?
Honestly, who exactly were Blizzard listen to when they made the decision to exclude LFD in WotLK classic. Go to any forum online, reddit, WoW forum, ect, and the vast majority are criticizing the decision.
the quote you were responding to in that post - ya looks like your reply was satire /s
(for you since you’re kinda not ummm welll anyway /s most of the time means sarcasm.)
Apparently I haven’t been the target audience for many years. I will probably just level my character and do some casual pvp. Looks like you’re changing things that didn’t need to be changed
It is satire. Look, I even claim I have zero evidence to the person that finally caught the satire. I’ve bolded it for you so you don’t even have to read the entire thing or think too hard about it.
You need to brush up on your familiarity with the art of satire.
It’s a good thing I didn’t pin anything on LFD. And while you certainly could do that, it’s also worth mentioning that LFD is relatively closer in time to the sub drops than something from Early Wrath, TBC, and Vanilla.
VERY surprised at the amount of anti-rdf people who claim to be anti-retail either silent or celebrating a 100% retail function being added to classic.
