Leave it to Blizzard to mess with a true Classic —to fix something that wasn’t broken.
Imagine popping in Goldeneye 64, or other classics from way back when, only to find out the devs of those games changed it and altered the game, changing it to something that was totally different from what you remembered.
Classic WoW was finally a chance to go back to the game we remembered, and of course, Blizzard found a way to mess even that up.
Incorrect, in most cases. It was simply unforgiving, particularly for the level of content it was implemented for, and for the audience that it was targeted to. The ramifications of that implementation were that substantial portions of the playerbase was alienated from content that they had become accustomed to and had a certain set of expectations for, and thus quit.
You do know rdf was not cross battlegroup in it’s first implementation right? It’s very possible two people queing in different battlegroups at the same time had very different experiences.
Because when I get bored leveling my character and want a change of pace, I can grab a couple friends and tear through Naxx to hopefully pick up a couple pieces of gear, or maybe get one fully decked out before hitting TBC dungeons. Or I may go back and work on Atiesh, bc it’d be cool to have a portal to Karazhan when needed. Those are just a few personal reasons I can think of off the top of my head.
It’s not a make or break for me either way, I just think it would be a value add to leave it in the game. Removing content is never a good thing.
