This is a WoW forums thing.
Not sure if this is the place for this but I didn’t see any forum-specific category.
I purchased a month of game time on April 8th
My billing cycle claims I will be billed on May 8th - 1 month
So, I believe that my WoW account has been active since April 8th
To this day April 17th, 9 days after my account went active, I cannot post in the WoW General forums because “You need an active subscription to post in this forum.”
Why?
Did I miss something?
Try logging out and back in to the forums. It could take a few times.
I have, a few times. I also tried swapping to characters that I am currently working on since renewing.
It hasenʻt helped yet, so I decided to try posting something here.
You do need to read a few, but 24 hours is about what I have seen.
Be sure to log into battle.net app on your computer and might need to log into and out of game with the toon you wish to post on.

Try changing your Battlenet account password (or at least going through the steps to do so – you can put your current password into the field if you don’t want to actually change it). That can sometimes cause things like this to refresh.
Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll try it at Home on the computer I use to play WoW.
Things look fine on the license end, this does sound like it’s an update issue.
This exact same thing happened to me so I made a post: Forum website says I have no active game time
As this post will tell you, I found a bunch of steps to do but the only thing that seemed to work for me was quitting my primary browser (Firefox) and logging on to the forums using Microsoft Edge. The problem did not occur on Edge so I quit and re-logged on with Firefox and the problem was also gone. Don’t understand why.
When you used a different browser, you got the update to go through so when you started using your primary browser again, the update had pushed.
What update would that be?
The update to the forum account information. Sometimes it is laggy, which is why normally a log out and back in fixes it. Sometimes it can be a bit more stubborn.
Well, I’m glad we’ve got a workaround for this problem.
