Okay Sombra.
Itās changed a lot. Thereās two builds, one that is easy and another that has better DPS but has a higher skill ceiling.
First build: Beam boost + immolation aura. Beam everything, hit buttons, beam. Need atleast one eyes of haze to optimise.
Second: Felblade build, relies more on demonās bite for resource generation but less downtime in terms of skill usage.
Both builds use demon as the last tier because the best Azerite trust is Furious Gaze, which gives use huge damage windows after the fel meme beam.
Iām sorry. I canāt hear you over all the acrobatics Iām doing.
Warlocks are just mad that weāre the superior Fel-users. No warlock ever disenchanted a demon hunter.
Feel the hatred of ten thousand yearsā¦
Iām sorry you were saying?!
Thatās what made MoP so fun, the fact that every class was OP to some extent.
More buttons to press donāt make things fun to play or āmeasures your skillā like the OP wants to claim.
He/she just wants to vent why a DH broke her heart .
Lord Illidan knows the way.
I have.
Because there was no third spec that remotely made any sense.
I still enjoy it.
Just a novice alt DH here. It feels great when beam is ready, but terrible the rest of the time, mashing buttons that donāt seem to do anything. If there was a bit of interaction in the base ārotationā it might feel better.
demon hunters seem pretty good damage wise, they may be a little simple but I donāt think they are that much easier than the other dps. Probably one of my least favorite classes however.
Hi fellow KhazāGorthian DH.
As you get more haste youāll find this smooths out and youāll find it a fun challenge to have large burst windows after Eye Beam compared to what you have now. Itās why we roll triple Furious Gaze.
This kills stuff super fast because of the boosted Death Sweeps + Annihilation and then translates into more eye beams because of the cool down reduction thanks to all the soul fragments weāre getting (why itās also good to have one eyes of rage trait too).
Same exact story as a BC to Legion hunter diehard, only my vanilla main and co-main from BC onward was always some sort of healer so I thankfully had that to fall back on when the unthinkable happened in Legion and I hung up my bow. BFA hunters feel better, but thatās just like saying āthis piece of poop is less runnyā. Iām not playing SV because I hate melee, all melee, period, and BM I only ever played when raiding on a high level and forced into the spec when it was top dps. At least MM feels better than Legion, but again that really isnāt saying much.
What the heck happened to hunters?!
Yet theyāre not pigeonholed into doing AOE damage or single-target they do both well. I just wish other classes were like that
they were tanky but it wasnāt OP. All melee could kill them; especially rogue. And I mean that as a mage, since warlock was a complete hard counter; I could literally do nothing against them.
The only thing that warlok had OP was Chaos bolt early in the expansion, as it was going around 70-90% of peopleās HP when it crit. It was just broken. But it got patched very quickly.
Opinions, really.
I feel like DH is fun to play and has a smooth rotation with plenty of utility.
I wonder the same thing every time I log in.
DH are the best designed class in the game at the moment. Mobile, effective, easy to learn, and just plain fun.
They are a joy to play.
This is honestly what every class should be. Fun.
My gripe is that Vengeance is trash in PVP and has been since its inception. It is beast mode in PVE (although sluggish) but all you can do in PVP is pretty much Demonic Trample and run away. You wonāt be killing anybody.
My enthusiasm for āmore buttonsā dies fast once I run out of actual keyboard buttons to bind them to (and keep in mind I need keys for interface functions, items, macros, and movement too.)
For most of the classes I play, Iād be happy to trade off a few buttons for DHās mobility.
Ummm, basically they just removed strike of the wind lord?
WW doesnāt play much different than Legion at all.
