Fix faction imbalance on pvp servers.
It’s 2019.
It is not that hard for blizzard to implement.
Not only the alliance should be asking for this but also the horde. Why should the horde be asking for this? Well, if you are on a horde dominated server, you have to search endlessly and tirelessly for some alliance to kill. You have to try to attack the enemy faster then your 30 other horde in the area. This causes the alliance to quit the game or reroll. You will eventually have no one to fight. You have no sense of danger when you go out into the world. You will have long bg queues. If you think the alliance on the pve servers are going to queue up for bgs at the rate the horde are, think again.
Here’s a link to some solutions that could fix the problem.
Please read my suggestions to fix the imbalance before the assumptions. One of my suggestions is to let horde faction change to alliance. I transfered to an alliance dominated server after seeing the mess on Kromkrush.
but why would they? they just want to keep imbalance going it allows them to play the game , without dealing with 4 40man raids if they want to go to any dungeon
If there is a problem with faction imbalance, then balancing factions would resolve it. Some of the most balanced servers, such as Netherwind and Kurinnaxx should be evidence of whether faction balance is to blame.
If the problem is that server capacity is too large, then moving to a smaller server should resolve the issues. For some, fear of a dead server later seems to prevent that from being appealing.
This is all assuming that there is a problem. Are there any problems that exist that anyone would actually do anything about?
Reroll on a PVE server
Reroll on the lower side faction to improve balance
Recruit on the lower side faction to improve balance
Organize PVP groups, and escorts to instances
Help others to grow your faction’s population
There are many things that could be done. Perhaps complaining on the forums is something that people feel is helpful. Perhaps it is.
Here’s a question:
What are you all doing to help issues as you see them? How has that worked so far?
Blizzard can fix the imbalance without forcing players to server transfer. Read the suggestions. It’s up to blizzard to add incentive to help keep the factions more balanced. They screwed up by not implementing faction caps to begin with. They then made the problem worse by allowing so many of one faction to transfer instead of keeping the balance even. It is their job to make this game enjoyable for everyone. And people are quitting because of this, it’s not enjoyable to them.
No, shifting the blame to the player makes no sense. What if Silentscream really loves playing undead characters. IT makes no sense to assume they chose to play horde because they like imbalanced factions.
It’s a game design problem and it’s up to the developers to solve it. Expecting the players to solve it on their own is ridiculous.
