There is no fix except for players on PvP servers wanting balance, as they have shown they do not there is no fix that will not upset the majority on those servers. They show they don’t based on the characters they create and the result of free transfers (and in the future made worse with paid transfers)
Nah, let the Gankfest Servers die. Imbalance the PvE Servers where nobody actually cares about this “issue”

Classic servers feel like that of retail. You have dominant horde and dominant alliance faction servers. And no one really want to “PVP” - everyone wants to be on the winning side.
I hope blizzard starts offering faction changes to the horde on skeram or just open up transfers again for the alliance here. I don’t see why I have to be locked up here for the false feeling of potential faction balance.
When you get some good scraps it’s fun. But when you get stuck dying on a boat it’s not. Playing here has taught me creative ways to avoid these situations.

As these gankfest servers are almost all horde dominated, the horde may end up with long bg queues, due to more and more alliance quitting the game. The alliance took a big hit since the honor system came out. That affects all horde on all servers,even the ones who transferred to alliance dominated servers to try to help with balance. This does not only affect the “gank fest” servers.

Great Point! Never considered how annoying us allies being ganked so fast, probably why everyone is in a 40 man raid group all the time.
but why ? Why fix an issue that is only an issue in forum threads ? In game the players want the imbalance (as shown by the characters they create and the outcome of free and paid transfers) ?
i demand better from players knowing horde would be dominate on pvp servers.
the fault is always on the players not blizzard where they chose to play.
I don’t see why people would enjoy being a part of a mindless Zerg with no challenge in pvp.
They should have rolled on a pve server if they didn’t want challenge in pvp.
It’s causing a lot of alliance players to quit the game, when they are at 3:1 odds or worse.
Balancing the servers would make the game more fun for everyone.

I agree with you, but alas that is why i don’t play on PvP servers. Everyone knew this was coming and have been whining about it on the forums since before the game released (back when the players could have changed their mind about faction or server and fixed this) but alas the normal ‘must be part of the dominate faction’ mindset kicked in.
Not everyone who choose Horde knew it would be this imbalanced. I checked the polls on all the discord’s pvp servers and the polls were showing an even balance.
Eventually blizzard allowed server transfers without balance in mind, and mostly only alliance transferred. This is defantely a problem that was far worsened by blizzards lack of competence and foresight .
You fix it. The only way they can affect populations is by implementing something that didn’t exist in classic.

That’s where you are wrong. When bgs came out, there were no cross server queues. Only server wide only. This made it much more enticing for the dominate faction to transfer to avoid long queue times.

Yes everyone knew, nobody on ‘discord’ knew anything, If you looked at the official forums for even a moment before release you would have seen nothing buy whinging about server populations (who/ faction etc.) on these forums.
No they didn’t. I didn’t know. The people on discord didn’t know. And you are avoiding the fact that blizzard made this imbalance worse.
I tired, this character is going to forever stay 39 until blizz fixes the issue. Getting ganked every other mob and spending a majority of my time corpserunning is rediculous, just to get to lvl 60 and end up raidlogging because of the unballance isnt what i want to do in classic. Moved to a near perfect 50/50 server and couldent be happier.
OMG this! if things keep going the way they are there will be no PVP to be had on PVP servers what so ever!

Which server, and what level are you?
