There’s always trying lower difficulties until one is more comfortable. And/or acquiring more gear.

I thought the scaling issues were with group content, or non-solo.

The bugs are not able to be outgeared. You will never outgear Brann doing near-zero damage or attacks that inflict millions.

Yes, I’ve noticed him bugging out and not doing damage sometimes.

The hotfixes for group content are what killed solo for a lot of people.

It’s weird how things that get changed in the code in delves would have ramifications in other parts of…checks notes delves.

I see we’ve reached the point in discussion where it’s just a shouting match between 2 players. Let’s hope the hotfixes tonight fix whatever is broken (although I’d bet all the kittens in Korea things will be worse over the weekend).

I would just like to say I have now put them on ignore.

If I had a like left, I’d hit your reply with one.

All I did was explain that their difficulty was likely user error rather than a scaling issue.

Although perhaps there’s a delve that isn’t favorably tuned for solo tanks.

A little vague especially considering that you’ve had days of really detailed feedback now that has sufficiently pinpointed the specific issues but I am glad it’s at least being looked at, even if it is on a Friday afternoon.

I also really, really hope that scaling in general is also being looked at across the board because issues with it are definitely not confined to delves, it’s just most noticeable there. I strongly encourage devs to try the Timewalking Mage Tower challenges and experience for themselves what the state of scaling there is like atm. Last time I checked less than 1% of players have completed the Tour of Towers achievement when the initial achievements during Legion had a completion rate of 35-40% at the time.

just put them back the way they were jesus, who cares about the exploiters it wasnt effecting my play i was having a great time until blizzard breaks the whole system, fun police, 2 steps forward followed by a step back really hope you guys actually fix this asap before player count starts dropping

Doing earthcrawl today on 8. It was next to impossible, due to Brann just not wanting to help. He just wouldnt attack. And on the rare occasion he did, his attacks were doing less than 10k damage. Was determined to do it, but it took me 2 and a half hours. And I basically had to do it solo solo, because Brann was just dead weight.

Interesting. I’ll try that after my dungeon. I tried the ?? boss and Brann just did no damage then walked into the frontals/fear and died like 5 times and I wasn’t sure how to deal with that because the boss has like 200m hp.

This. I’m still trying to decide if I feel it was too much, cause even 7s feel much harder now.

The 8s were too easy without question. Everyone is ignoring that they were crushing these with far less gear than the recommended ilvl.

Still, some mobs seemed downright impossible while others were just harder.

Something has to be broken here, right? According to recap, Necrotic Bolt tooltip states the ability causes 467k Dmg ( I’m assuming that’s even prior to any defenses/talents/resistsances etc I might have), yet the readout states the first one did 1.8million, and 1 second later the next did 4.9million. WTF is going on here? T8 Sinkhole, on my Elemental Shaman iLvL 585.

Did it crit?
Tooltips are notorious for being wrong. Usually we get a “tooltip will be fixed in a future patch” comment about them.
