The past week, I’ve run 50+ bountiful delves on my army of alts. Literally 80+% of the drops have been trinkets.
Yeah I know, the obvious answer is “RNG”. Do the math though, the chance of this high a trinket drop rate is so unlikely it’s almost impossible.
My guestimation is that there are a ton more trinkets than all other slots combined on the loot table, and/or each item on the table has an equal chance drop (or it’s just plain broken). The logic should be each SLOT has equal chance to drop an item from the table instead. It would even out the gear distribution much more.
Please look into this; as someone that doesn’t enjoy M+'s overly stressful and overloaded mechanics, it’s making the main reason I came back for TWiW just frustrating.
I agree. My last 14 bountiful delves have been the same belt. The same belt.
It is busted, and it needs to be looked at. On a full table of items, you shouldn’t see the same item drop consecutively more than 3 times. That is not how RNG works.
I wouldn’t mind some agency to delve loot. I’m all for adding a weekly token you can earn to pick a piece of delve loot. But they have RNG for the reason of making you play longer. It’s all time metrics, you can’t get what you want right away or else how else would they trick you into playing for longer periods of time.
Trinkets and capes… then rings, then belts and after that it’s whatever your highest piece of gear you already have. Absolute trash rng. Great vault is icing on the cake… 3 weeks in a row trinkets and capes. I didn’t even bother doing delves this week. Taking a break and playing something else now xD
My first week in the GV I badly needed rings and new pants. GV blessed me the first week with pants even tho I had the option to get a ring which was also an upgrade.
I dont think it matter, after first 2 week. The loot from Bountiful delves are no longer upgrades for anyone. And you have to wait for vault every week, this is highly inefficient…
I got the same item 4 times in a row yesterday. The tables have to be busted. Over 13 slots and a dozen cosmetics and not a single cosmetic and the same item slot multiple times in a row. That says " There is a loot table issue. " Especially when my friends and others here are posting the same outcome.
Really enjoy the delves, but after 60+ trinkets i just gave up running them, part of the fun is the reward, and knowing its the same reward over and over removes any fun.
I’ve had some good luck with delves, but also a lot of bad luck. Like 20 trinkets. Or a bunch of cloaks. Somehow in all of it I could not get a single pair of pants to drop.
I like delves (though am admittedly burnt out on them right now), and I hope they take a look to see if maybe there is something off in the RNG.
